Dyson Service Center, Union City CA

I've been in three times to have a “big ball” vaccum repaired for overheating. The first two times I was told it just needed cleaning. Neither cleaning (nor the suggestion to extend the cable fully) fixed the overheating issue. I dropped the machine off for the third time on January 3 and was told I would receive a phone call the following week. It's January 31st and I've still not been able to get ahold of anyone to tell me why my machine is defective and not repaired or replaced under warranty.
I don't normally leave such low star reviews but in this case it is unprofessional and I feel like I'm being blown off and ignored.

I was debating dropping by this location because I live pretty far away but I'm so glad that I did. Shawn was the only one there and their system was down at the time, but he was still able to help all of the customers by providing info/updates. He helped me replace our vacuum battery and resolve the squeaking sound on our fan. He even ran out to catch a customer when he noticed she left her bag inside. He was very knowledgeable and gave me info on various fan models. Pro tip: when you buy Dyson devices, make sure you register them for easier access to info (like the serial number, warranty expiration, etc.). This made the check-in process very quick and easy.

I arrived at this repair shop at 12: 30 PM, my vacuum wasn’t working properly. The technician took the Dyson vacuum. Came out 20 minutes later and it’s perfect. What a great shop highly recommend them friendly and effective great combination.

Was dreading this trip in there a bit. Quite pleasantly surprised as Dyson rep Shawn deftly took care of myself and two other customers in there. He fixed my problem quickly, and I was on my way. Great work by Shawn.

I went here to have my airwrap fixed. I explained to the employee when the issue happened but he just stopped me from talking to him and entered into the room. He was so rude.

I am very impressed with Dyson’s service center. The gentleman that serviced me today was very efficient and friendly. I was in and out in 15 minutes with my issue resolved. I was the third one in line.

Our Dyson refurb vacuum was stuck in max mode, Tyson was able to fix our problem within 5 minutes and without charging us for a new head. Outstanding service, we left extremely happy and grateful. Definitely worth the drive over from San Jose. Thank you so much!

Staff are really good and knowledgeable. I had a noise issue with my TP04 and they knew what the problem was as soon as I explained it. My unit needed a replacement part so I had to leave it there and pick it up a few days later after I checked the status by emailing them. They were also lenient with the warranty on my refurbished unit which I appreciated.

Very pleasant experience! Had a broken roller on my V10. Came in and was seen within a few minutes. The tech had me sign in and fixed it before I finished filling out the form.

I came around 1: 45pm and I did not have an appointment.

They head on my vacuum is broken It was still under warranty they didn’t ask any questions and on shipping me a new head.

Dyson is an industry leader for a reason. I took my vacuum for a service. They repaired it within 45 minutes and didn't charge me a dime. I was shocked in a good way. After this experience, I've become a lifetime loyal customer!

Brought my vacuum in today right before they close and was expecting I would get a quote and pick it up another day.
But Tyson was able to fix it real quick and said there’s no charge this time.
