I really enjoyed my stay at the eagle's nest lodge. Loved my little cabin. It was very cozy. It was nice to have a little kitchen to cook in. Much better than just another hotel room. Great location. I will definitely come again

My ikon pass is expiring and I have been burning time off at Big Bear. This place has been the perfect accommodation. Walking distance from resort shuttles, amazing self check in service and I had a last minute change request that once I contacted them, got handled in minutes. It has been my 2nd stay here in two weeks and if the season keeps going, it wont be my last.

We recently stayed at the EAGLES NEST bed-and-breakfast hotel in big bear. This was during the weekend the mountains were under a blizzard warning. When we pulled up, we loved love the look of the cabins.
Our cabin, very cool. It had a nice kitchen, a fireplace, a big screen, TV, and a wall heater that warm the place up quickly.
The bed in this particular cabin was firm, just the way we like it. The location of this property was perfect! Literally minutes from the restaurants, grocery store, and snow summit. The property is filled with trees and looked beautiful in the snow. The customer service was great. Management and ownership were very nice and accommodating. We stayed three nights. It was a great little getaway. Thank you David and Kim.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights for a quick snowboard trip. We had to cancel our initial reservation because it was during an unusual heavy snow fall and all public roads, access to the mountain was closed for over a week. Kim was beyond accommodating and his prompt communication truly made me feel at ease with the entire process.
Upon our arrival we were greeted by a very nice, friendly Chinese lady who communicated via translator. She was so sweet and accommodating.
The large cabin is a true vintage building filled with charm and intriguing “artifacts”. We spent an evening in the shared, main living area listening to oldies on a cassette player. Amazing. Although the house was a shared space we did not feel any lack of privacy.
Our bedroom was also filled with mountain charm decor. Loved it. The room was cozy yet we had ample space to dry our snowboarding gear by the electric fireplace. Very convenient. The closet, mini fridge, and other amenities were added bonus. Most importantly we felt the room was clean. Although the fixtures and house itself is very rustic we appreciated having very clean linens, towels, and bathroom. It made for a very comfortable stay.
The property is an older one and likely very historic. Staying in an actual log cabin is quite special. Having expectations of a modern resort is unrealistic.
We frequent Big Bear and in future the Eagles Nest will be our first choice in accommodations.

This place is really close to Snow Summit. We came in really late at night and left early in the morning so we didn’t see anyone but check in and check out was super convenient. Perfect for quick trip.

If you have self respect don’t stay here. Jacuzzi is nasty along with the aroma in the room. Pet hair everywhere. Our tv didn’t even turn on. Sketchy place to stay. Didn’t have any problems with management and it was very close to summit.
