Dr. Rahul Raghu, MD at East Bay Eye Center is simply the best. I simply cannot say enough about how caring, professional and nice this doctor and the whole staff is.
My vision is now 20/20 in both eyes. One simply does not notice the deterioration of your own eye site. Now with the cataracts removed and the new lenses in place, the world is a vibrant, colorful, beautiful place. You forget how blue the sky is. Now I remember. I look at it every day. Thank you Dr. Raghu!

Dr. Raghu was great. He explained all of my options for cataract surgery in great detail, the surgeries were easy and effective and the entire staff was helpful whenever I had questions.

I’ve been a patient with Dr. Todd Severin for over 13 years and am very happy with his expertise and his thoroughness. His staff is very knowledgeable and kind and despite the fact that I go there to treat a problem with my vision (kind of a downer) I always leave there feeling heard and appreciated- I enjoy seeing them, in fact. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Todd or the East Bay Eye Center to anyone- they’re all great.

I am verry happy with the experience with East Bay Eye Center. I
was accepted on time, no hours long wait like I experienced with another eye doctor. Both technical assistants were very efficient and courteous. I liked very much that after the tests I was given to watch a half an hour video presentation explaining cataracts and their treatments, this was quite educational for me. Dr. Severin paid great attention to me, answered all my questions and was clear about the state of my eye condition and the possible timing of treatment.
My only critique is my experience before the appointment itself. I had to provide a referral from my optometrist in order to see the Doctor. The receptionists kept saying the referral had not been received while, in fact, it had been sent several times by the optometrist. I had to eventually call both sides and make the connection between them. They receive these referrals by fax and at some point, when I called just a couple of hours after the referral had been sent, the receptionist told me that they simply get too many faxes and it is impossible to find it. Sounds a bit disorganized, does not it? Also, when making the appointment (which was done 5 months before the date), I was told I would receive paperwork to fill in and I did not. When the appointment day approached, I called again the clinic to ask for the paperwork.
I would definitely recommend the Eye Center because of the doctors and assistants and am giving the 5 stars to them, but the receptionists should do a better job.

I have to write a review for the care my mother received from Rahul Raghu, MD - East Bay Eye Center! WOW is what I have to say, she was given such great care. We left feeling like it was my own family taking care of her. DR Raghu even went as far as giving her his private cell number should she need anything. It is very hard to find doctors who are truly available for there patients anytime of the day. What an amazing experience. THANK YOU

Office is VERY disorganized as the other reviewers said. Called twice to try get an appointment and no one has gotten back to me.

Very disappointed by inefficient front staff; have been trying to schedule my yearly appointment for last 2 weeks and called them several times, left messages. Once they confirmed to get back to me in 24 hours with options but no one called me back. I like the doctor and that's why I am sticking otherwise i would have moved to other center, which provides quality service and respects patient's time.

After a lengthy and very frustrating experience with a different eye care facility, I saw Dr. Edward Laubach at East Bay Eye Center. Dr. Laubach listened carefully to my concerns, reviewed the documents that I provided him, and performed a very thorough and comprehensive evaluation. I give him high marks for professionalism and skill.

My wife has been a patient for over 6 years. She had a very successful cataract surgery performed by Dr. Severin (son) and is still to date under his ongoing care. My eye care specialist passed away and I started with this new eye center. I am very pleased with all the services and professionalism of everyone there.

I’m on the young (er) side to be battling with glaucoma. After years at other practices, I am so happy to have found Dr. Severin and his friendly, caring staff. Still battling, but I know I am in good hands. Perhaps just as important as the capable and knowledgeable doctors and technicians is knowing that I’ve got a team of people that care. Doctor and staff take as much time as is necessary to ensure my comfort and confidence during every consultation and for every surgical or non-surgical procedure.

I was extremely impressed with Dr. Todd Severin's expertise, knowledge, patience, and very professional and courteous treatment. I was also impressed with the most modern medical technology in his clinic. I would highly recommend him!

I had a great experience in this eye hospital. The staff are very friendly. They made the eye test process smooth and easy. The eye doctor was very good in narrowing down the root cause of the issue.
