9Attended a birthday party there and loved everything about the park the BBQ area benches were clean no graffiti or leftover food stuck on them. The one thing both myself and my husband were extremely disappointed in were the restrooms they were not kept up or taken care of the night before and definitely not cleaned the morning of the party nor did Parks & Rec. Pass by the 7 hours I was there to check on the park and the restrooms. That was my only issue other than that great place to have an event.
Grandson plays baseball here, so I guess I have to like it. Good thing about this place, no homeless encampment.
It's very nice, but the restrooms are awful! There were mice coming out of them, they stunk and were very dirty, this was the beginning of the day. I took my boys to Target (down the street) to use the restrooms.
Great park. Not sure why the city won't unlock the bathrooms though.
Update: the bathrooms are open but gross. Not sure why. The owners of the homes in River park deserve better for their $.
Not much here but just the kids playground and a couple of courts. It's also a fitness park as well.
I love this Park. Its nice and quiet and right across the street from my girlfriend house literally. Love that it has a nice full court basketball court, and a tennis court engaged inside a high chain link fence around all 4 sides of the court to contain loose balls from having to chase them down. They have a nice decent playground for young children to play on plus a clean public restroom for both male and females thats cleaner than most public park restrooms in this city that I've ever seen.
This park was great until @5 years ago, eventually, the playground stared to break down and after few aptempts of fixing it, it now look awful, not only seams dirty but now, seams like the toodlers plaiyng there, were the ones on charge to repair the grounds.
Beautiful and we'll kept park. Great for sports practices and great for party gatherings
