East Valley Veterinary Clinic reviews
18East Valley is the real deal, they care and have great vets and they don't scam you or con you into paying for stuff you don't need. I've been going here for years and wanted to leave them a glowing review because every time i venture out to other vets for scheduling reasons its always a nightmare.
Love this clinic! They are always friendly and attentive. Very fair prices, now if I could just fine a Doctor for me that I trust as much as this place.
Very Meticulous, Friendly and treat our family members ? With dignity and respect I have recommended East Valley to many. Thank you to all who work there.
Dr. Hohne is an awesome Vet! When my chihuahua had to be put to sleep, he sat there and cried with us.
Amazing staff and caring doctors. You can tell that everyone who works here is passionate about helping animals. Brooke was such a gem and made the whole experience a joy.
P. S Awesome prices!
I took two of my dogs here for simple exams and both dogs had their face shaved. No warning that they were going to do this and completely unnecessary. Shaving the dogs face caused more medical problems to their ears and eyes. I have never heard of an ear infection needing to have the side of the dogs faces shaved. My other dog had an eye scratch and shaved the whole face causing massive eye infection even in the good eye. To repair the damage of what east valley Dr Hohne did…. With another vet cost me over $4000.00 what should have been $350 total to start.
It's a shame I have to leave such a low-star rating because Dr. Hahn is a 6-star vet, but I am forced to after a recent extremely disappointing experience with administrative staff member Amanda. I scheduled an appointment for my dog on Friday, but when we took him on the scheduled day we were told he had been scheduled for the day before, despite me having an all-day engagement the day prior that made it impossible for me to have scheduled on that day. The staff here are generally great and Dr. Hahn is amazing, but Amanda was the exact opposite- rude, unhelpful, and nothing but attitude right off the bat even though I was respectful. Funnily enough, the other admin lady at the front helpfully suggested we could reschedule for later that day, but once I asked for a refund of the $50 no-show fee Amanda stormed in to take charge and told me there were no doctors available to be scheduled with today, and the other lady had to correct her that she'd already offered one. This isn't the first time I've had issues w/ a mis-scheduled appointment, but it's the first time I've been charged for it and the first time I've had to deal with such unnecessary rudeness. As great as Dr. Hahn is, even the best vet means nothing if you never get to see him in the first place and end up $50 poorer for the ordeal. Sorry to say I can't recommend East Valley any more, hopefully management can get things in order.
I had to have my 13 year old cat put down. It was a very difficult decision and day. I have to thank the staff for continuing to check on me and my Mitchie. Dr. Hohne was very gentle in explaining the procedure. I didn't get the name of the young man at the desk, but he was so kind in being in the room, talking to me and listening to me talk about my cat. And he told me about losing his cat, also.
I was able to be with my Mitchie and held him close til the end. They didn't rush me, told me to take the time I needed. Doug, for your kindness and care you took with Mitchie after he was gone. Thank you.
Thank you all, for your love and care of my baby and meon such a traumatic day.

Very newcomer friendly, appointments are easy and sometimes you don't need them. Satisfied.
I have an older dog with several medical conditions. They taught me how to manage them and together we have kept her in good health for three years, which is 2 more then they have predicted.
My dog broke her leg, another emergency vet told me she must have surgery, sent me to a surgen, who said she she mush have surgery. I told them both she will not live through surgery. They wouldn't listen made me feel terrible. I took her to doctor Hart and she told me, she won't live through surgery, we.cam up with a pain management plan and she doing great.
If not for Dr. HART, she wouldn't have made it this long.
After calling East Valley Veterinary Clinic to request an appointment for our 14 year old Dog with failing health, I was told to bring her in anytime that same day between 1: 00 & 4: 00PM because of her condition (other vet centers told us it would be a week before they could see her, even after I explained her condition). When we arrived at the EVVC, The staff immediately took us into the exam room and let all of us stay with her for 20 minutes for a loving final visit before she was sedated while I hand feed her treats, then 15 minutes later she was Peacefully put down with an injection. They Made a Very Traumatic situation for us into a calm loving good bye to our Family Companion. The cost was VERY reasonable, and they Waive the Office Call when they saw her condition was dire. "When's the last time you heard of a Dr. Waiving their office Fee! " Don't hesitate to call to them to bring your Pet to these caring people. We are Dog lovers and EVVC proved to us they are too! Thank you and you've made us your Friends for life.
Sincerely,
Frank K.
After making an appointment for my puppy to get neutered I immediately called back to ask how much the cost will be. Was told $365 and when I went to pick him up I had to pay $495. Confused, I told the front desk lady how much I was said and why I wasn’t told how much it would be before they started the procedure (as one would considerably expect). The woman sitting to her right, who I found out later is the office manager yelled, literally raised her voice at me about their policy being full payment at the time services are rendered “or we will keep him until you do. You have until 6 today or tomorrow” My issue atm was not the fact that I couldn’t pay the bill as she assumed, I was communicating the principle of them not confirming the payment amount let alone the bill being different than was initially said. I understand their policy and respect it how ever I will not tolerate being spoken to the way all 3 of the front desk staff spoke to me. Very rude and unnecessary. Somewhat evident in the lack of care they may or may not have for animals in my personal opinion and therefor cannot & will not trust them. Disappointing.
Thankfully, I haven't had to bring my dog here in a while. I used to come because of their fair prices, but idk if its because their rent is a lot more now at new location or what. Obviously, prices went up everywhere but $1,300 for an ear hematoma? No thanks. Last year, elsewhere, I paid $475 & this year $615.
I took my puppy twice here for her vaccinations. Pretty quick and efficient. Staff is always happy to help.
The veterinarians here are compassionate and capable, but some of the front desk chicks are just out of their minds.
I’m very impressed by this team. Dr. Hohne is very compassionate and always has great insight. I’m very thankful for everyone who has helped.
Very expensive, but it was worth it. They don't make you wait too long at all, and the staff is very friendly. Because of Covid, you can't go inside, but I would rather prefer it that way anyways.
Very friendly staff best doctors with big heart truly humane doctors I can express how big these people are,
