I was sent an offer and have sent proof of everything and eBay are trying to claim it expired a month before they sent it out. One month and still NO call back, worst customer service! DO NOT RECOMMEND wasting money on becoming an eBay Plus member. Can't even get a supervisor to call back.

Horrible experience. I bought and sold a few rare coins. Have 100% positive ratings as a buyer and seller. Then, my account was permanently suspended arbitrarily. No reason given despite two phone calls and five emails to customer service. They literally refuse to give me a reason.

I wouldn’t care except I had just sold a coin. Transaction went smoothly, buyer was happy, then suspension. There is $833 of my money in limbo, and when asked, they won’t even tell me if/when it’ll be released. This doesn’t even seem legal. Certainly not right.

So I re centl y sold some of mypersonal tools on ebay sthey suspended my account I made a 500 dollar sale. They charged me over 70 dollars to use their platform. They placed a 30 day hold on my funds. I called customer service, they couldn't give me am actual reason why I was suspended. Just that my account put the community at risk. Multiple representatives statedbl the same rehearsed response. I get in touch with the buyer who tells me there is nothing wrong with the products and he confirms that everything was great to ebay. They still say my account is indefinitely suspended, and do wait until the hold on my funds is released on November 28th. I try to order my payout on the 28th and the website won't allow me to. I call customer service and the gentleman tells me that typically the funds are held up to 170 days in situations like this. I asked him if he knew why I was suspended and got no answer from him, just like the previous ones. He checks my appeal, tries to see if there's any other way to access my money for me since Christmas is almost here and that money would do wonders for me and my family right now. And he says theres absolutely nothing that can be done. Please note that originally it was stated that my funds were on hold to confirm the buyer had no issues. Then was changed to because my account is suspended after the buyer confirmed my product was as it should be

They don’t care about their long time sellers. Sold almost 5000 items in the past 6 years. Their ESE shipping for trading cards which they introduced gives sellers no protection. A scammer could totally get away with ripping honest people off. I’m done with EBAY. They can kick rocks

They don’t have REAL customer service agent anymore they use ai to kick you out of your issues instead of solving them.

And they Hide those solution contacts so you CANNOT find a REAL person to help you

EBay, inc has chosen to fast pace a bidder in an Auction to authorize their choice of Square Trade Warranty Protection and the eventual form of financial payment before bidding is finalized. This “IT” software change can n August causes severe hardships which have recently been corrected. In that EBay knowingly and willingly make changes to their software, which they later rescinded as a result of my Letter of Compliant, eBay, inc has reversed their previous policy. In fact, the reversal of their Policy on the software changes, they made, has re-instituted the consumer s ability to 1.) Determine the form and terms of payment after the bid is accepted, and 2.) Determine and indicate the “choice” of a Square Trade Warranty on their purchase (s). This reversal of Policy positively benefits the consumer in 2 Ways. 1.) allows the use of financial tools to utilize PayPal Credit after award of Highest Bid, and 2.) Allows buyer to choose or Select the Square Trade Warranty for which, software changes had previously Dis-allowed after the initial bid was tendered. These previous changes had caused numerous overdrawn checking accounts and forfeiture of your rights to “Purchase” an appropriate Warranty on Selected devices (after final bidding) had occurred on selected devices. In that eBay has restored their IT Software to previous standards I feel that eBay should restore the financial losses incurred by my 20+ years of customer loyalty, which they refuse to acknowledge.

As an Ebay seller with over 500 transactions and a 100% positive feedback rating, I'm calling it quits. If you are thinking of trying to make a living as an Ebay seller, please think again. Ebay charges a fee on the shipping costs so if you auction something that goes for only a few dollars, you end up paying Ebay for the privilege! And if you specify "No Returns", you will still get tire-kickers who purchase an item then return it for the most arbitrary of reasons. And Ebay will hold your funds until YOU, the seller, pay postage both ways. Really, really, really unfair - bordering on abusive.

Terrible customer service. They have a bunch of "offline" teams, the front line doesn't help, and has no access to help. They read script after script. So many inconsistencies, and miscommunication/ empty promises. Hey, on the plus side, if you want free items, just leave negative feedback for all sellers! That's the cheat code, good luck! This company has so many gray areas, and no accountability. They will lie straight to your face or promise you a solution and wear you down so you quit.

Purchased an item that the seller communicated they could not fulfill, but did not cancel the transaction. After finally getting pass the AI customer service and speaking with a customer service agent and their supervisor, a refund could not be processed for a minimum of 5 days. This was a high dollar item, so buyer beware and eBay update you policy to return seller monies the moment a buyer communicates they are not fulfilling an order.

NOT IMPRESSED ebay

I sold 2 things on ebay in the last few months.
First, they charge about 20! % commission. But that's not the big problem. Both times they put my $$ "on hold" for NO reason.
This is outrages. I'm an ebay customer for more than 20! Years.
100% positive feedback as a buyer - AND as a seller.
Customer service is a complete joke as well. The lady from ebay "customer service" just hung up on me after i explained my problem.
This was a good company a few years ago.
Not sure why they doing that to their customers. But maybe it has to do with the stock price. Ebay lost more than 40% in the last 2 years.

Your charges on sale items are a downright ripoff! Charging me sellers fees or tax and shipping is greedy, unethical and probably illegal.

Then your double charging me for shipping while taking sellers fees and skimming the difference in shipping charges from what the buyer pays and what seller pays.

How about charging me an international sellers fee when the package was shipped to a US address. I don't care where the sellers " registered address" is, the sale is final when the package ships to the address given, in this case a US address.

If Ebay doesn't correct this and make it right for me I will make sure I never sell or buy here again. I will also make sure all my friends and family know what has happened.

This is greedy and insulting!

These people ripped me off. They took over a hundred dollars out of my bank account without informing me. It was about because I stopped selling something after it stopped working and they gave me ZERO consideration. Having said that I will never purchase or sell anything on EBay again.

Seller can abort even after I already paid stating that the ebike-motor is damaged.

A week later he starts the same auction with the same article stating the the bike is working fine.

It is not possible to contact ebay about this topic. Winning an auction and paying means that the seller and I do have a contract he has to fulfill and he obviously has not.

Thanks for nothing ebay.

They don't even deserve 1 star. Lucky they get to get 1. EBay engages in False advertisement and allows sellers to sell used products that are listed as new.
