EDCO (Customer Service Office), San Marcos CA

I have been with EDCO for 22 years and they have been great in every way. Last week I forgot to get my trash out in time and when I called they were very respectful and had someone back within 15 minutes. Yes I paid a small fee but that's to be expected. What I was surprised by was how quickly they responded. I have also rented large dumpsters from them several times and always with no problems. I think they are fantastic.

The CEO of this company should make an attempt to reach ANYBODY by calling his company. I have tried over the last three days to reach someone and have had NO success. I’ve been a customer for 20 years but would gladly have Waste Management service my account but because of the long term contracts these companies have with individual communities defeats the competitive choice one would like to exercise. This company rates a -1 with me!

Don't go to this place, they are dishonest. I went 3 times to drop off my plastic bottles for recycling. The first two times I was paid a fair amount I guess because they were close in price, however, today I go there and I have the same two bags of plastic bottles filled tightly like always. The weight on the receipt was 6lbs and I was paid $7.56. The last two times I went the weight was 9.5 lbs.and I was paid $11.97, the other time I was paid $10.33. They never let you see the weight and as soon as he weighed it he threw the plastic bottles in the bin so fast before I could say anything. When he told me the price I knew I got ripped off. Make sure if you go there you see the weight for yourself. It is sad that in this day and age people are still dishonest. Shame on you Sir.you know who you are. I called to talk to someone and waited almost 15 minutes for someone to pick up. When he did he told me that I have to talk to the guy Jesus in the Escondido center, and they never picked up. Why would I talk to someone in another center to begin with? He was sending me on a wild goose chase and that is why I am writing this review. Had someone been able to help me this review probably wouldn't have gotten written.

Our garbage has been sitting here for days! They sure love to sit here and eat their lunch though!

Im very happy because i call customer service for a bin graffiti and very quickly somebody pick up my call and programed a service for me, great service.

After 2 calls to report recyclables left on our street by careless crew (s) it has happened again. This time 4 out of 8 houses on my street have recyclables laying in the street near the blue can. As I pulled off our street and drove down the access road, at least 40% of the blue cans 1-2 pcs of recyclables laying next to them. I will call again but doubt anything will be done to rectify this irresponsible, reckless behavior. Next time I will contact my local county representative for advice. This is what happens when there's no competition.

I have had EDCO for 20 years. Never really had any problems. If they left a can I would call them and it was picked up the same day. Great customer service.

We just moved to the area and called twice, due to and error we made. Both times their service was exceptional! They went out of their way to help us. I wish all companies treated the customers like they treated us.

Poway needs a new waste hauler. My trash was not picked up this week. Called and was told it would be picked up Friday. All three carts are still sitting on the street full

They purchased my old local disposal company in which, I was completely satisfied with for many years. I was willing to give EDCO another chance because my old disposal company had faith in them. Having dealt with EDCO previously, I knew something wrong was eventually going to happen. Sure enough, not even a year of service, EDCO messes up multiple times and continues to provide inconveniences. So, I have had enough of their friendly denials. In search of another disposal company due to EDCO presuming they are in control of their customer's affairs. We pay the bills, we are your boss.make us happy and do what the customers ask. Until then, never recommending this trashy company.

Talked to a gentleman today from Edco, and they are going to help me:)

I would give them no stars if I could. Our trash was missed along with other neighbors Two Friday’s in a freaking row! I pay each month for what? Laziness? Screw you EDCO!

This is the best service provider of all time. Coming from Oregon my water and gas and electric and tv is so much higher here but edco is much cheaper and full service. I love EDCO

Incredibly frustrating company to deal with. Drivers make excuses for inability to pick up during rain, every single rain, year after year. This is a service our small family ranch relys on. Office staff time cannot seem to tell the truth about when or if we will actually get our pick up. Since there is no competition in Valley Center there is no reason for this company to provide better service to us out here in the country I guess.
