We just finished a remodel of our primary bedroom and bathroom, adding ~200 sq ft by expanding the bath & bedroom and adding a walk in closet. The work was nothing short of incredible! Fast and efficient. I was surprised when when we finished in less than 3 months when other companies were quoting us at least 4-6 months. Even with the approvals from the city on permit, then entire process never felt like it was held up!

Their prices were comparable to other vendors that we received quotes from, and more than that they were transparent about the costs and what went into everything in the quote. Other vendors were very vague or required a $10K deposit for "design" before even offering quote on the work.

We worked closely with Oren throughout the entire process. From quote to finished product. He was extremely responsive and always ready to provide any guidance for me as my husband and I are new homeowners. The working team was also extremely professional, kind and very trustworthy (shout out to Henry who was always ready to answer any questions I had!).

We were living at the house during the construction and the team was incredibly respectful of that. In addition to the main construction going on, we also had the team install shelving in our laundry closet, and added in some decorative arches to parts of the home. Again, always respectful of our living area and always cleaned up each day. They were even friendly and respectful of our 50 lb poodle who loved to come by and say hi every morning.

Since our house was built in the 1950s we definitely plan on doing additional fixes throughout the time living here and would more than consider having Eden Builders as our go-to contractor in the future!

This is the third project that I've had Roy and the guys tackle in the last few years. This time around, it was my guest bathroom. Roy is a great communicator and a straight-shooter. One of the most honest guys I've ever met. Every single member of his crew is professional, on-time and CLEAN!

The project was completed on time and on budget, which I'm always grateful for. Roy's work is top-knotch, and he is a stickler for details! And his pricing is always very fair. If you're looking for a contractor who can do it all, I highly, highly recommend these guys. Eden Builders is my go-to contractor! Love them!

It has been a year since we started working with Eden Builders. We talked to a few contractors and went with Eden Builders because we had a great first impression of Oren, our main point of contact for the project. He was the only one who offered to talk to us in-person rather than over a quick phone call. He was detailed-oriented, honest, and always quick to respond to our questions and concerns.

Eden Builders helped design our 1000 sq.ft ADU, and it was a quick and easy process. The longest part was getting the approval from the city to start building the ADU. Once we got the green light in March, Eden Builders were able to complete the whole project in about 4.5 months, which was pretty amazing in my opinion!

This project has been mostly smooth sailing. There were a few hiccups here and there, but mostly due to LADWP and the city, so Eden Builders had no control over those matters. I also appreciate the hard work that Henry and his crew put into the project. They worked long hours, and sometimes even on the weekends to get this project done.

We're happy with the ADU and highly recommend Eden Builders to other folks who are planning to build an ADU or remodel their home.

I have been through three separate remodeling projects over the past 6 years and this is the first time I would recommend (happily and highly recommend) a company. Roy was absolutely wonderful to work with. His communication was impeccable, he answered all my many questions and was a true partner throughout the process. We did a full kitchen remodel, including tearing down a wall and raising the ceiling. We also added some work in the living room removing a soffit and remodeling the fireplace, as well as some work in the powder room. The whole crew was fantastic. Everyone is so good at their jobs and also just genuinely nice people. And so clean! No one ever left trash anywhere - not one soda can or wrapper. And they routinely came to take away any debris from the demo and remodel process. We will definitely call Roy and Eden Builders for our next project.

Recently completed our master bathroom renovation with Roy's help. All in all, a very great experience. Roy and team were transparent throughout the process pointing out issues and helping with procurement to help realize our vision. Roy made himself available throughout to answer questions that came up and to help with trouble shooting and problem solving the specifics of many details. Practical advice and expertise helped guide us in our decision making so that we ended up with a great final product!
Even when minor mistakes occurred there was a strong sense of responsibility from their team to help coordinate and solve for issues.
Would definitely recommend Eden Builders to others and would use them again for other renovations for our home!

Eden builders did an exceptional job completely renovating our turn of the century kitchen and bringing our home into the 21st century while still keeping its original charm. My partner and I bought a house built in 1908 in Pasadena that had loads of character but was not up to date. We needed HVAC, a completely new kitchen, refinished hardwood floors, insulation in some back rooms, and new tiling in some areas as well. We got 5 bids for this but Eden was far and away the winner not only because of the portfolio they shared online of previous work, but also because Roy Litman was an absolutely lovely human and really listened to our needs and desires and worked with us every step of the way to achieve our very specific vision for our home. It was really important to us that our point of contact for the project was a problem solver, experienced, pleasant to work with, and a kind person. Having Roy on the job made things run smoothly and was simply fun. We looked forward to our walk-throughs with him and got very excited each time we saw major progress. He truly became a friend to us through the process and we are ecstatic with how our home turned out. I'll let the final photos speak for themselves but all in all I would highly recommend working with Eden in the future.

The positive reviews on yelp are 100% accurate. Oren at Eden Builders was honest, responsive and kept the work moving. Even though we added another bathroom to remodel he still finished in the promised time. Oren is honest, has integrity, is a hard worker, great at project managements and has impeccable attention to detail. If you cannot trust your contractor, you are going to have a very difficult time. Do yourself a favor and choose someone who is trustworthy and you will not be disappointed. If you have a large job ahead of you, get Eden Builders to bid on it. Remember that you get what you pay for.

We were so LUCKY to meet and find Alex @Eden Builders. We interviewed several General Contractors at our home where we wanted to do a major renovation. The project included but was not limited to 3 bathrooms, the kitchen to include custom cabinetry, flooring throughout, marble tiling, and multiple light fixtures. Other candidates provided unreasonable bids and did not have the same level of meticulous attention Alex provided from the very first moment of our walkthrough. Throughout the project, Alex was responsive, honest, and friendly. He did not sugarcoat what had to be done in order to achieve our objectives and provided estimates as best as possible upfront. He also allowed us to be creative as we wanted while being pragmatic about permits, cost, time, and space. Although our project was a major renovation, Alex and his team can handle projects of all sizes throughout the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas. In fact, Alex and I have already been discussing plans to redo our backyard and pool. Highly skilled and experienced, Alex has truly earned his title as our “go to guy” for all things related to home renovation. We love the way EVERYTHING turned out. Zero complaints!

Do not do a renovation without Eden Builders! When we decided to add a primary bedroom, hallway and renovate a bathroom, we interviewed several contractors. Immediately we saw the difference when we met Oren – he was by far the most experienced, buttoned-up and genuine. I’m a type-A, list maker and was looking for that same kind of organization in whomever we entrusted with our big budget project. Oren delivered across the board.

Oren and his team held our hand throughout the entire process, were patient with my numerous questions and delivered on our specific asks to ensure the project was as we’d envisioned. Additionally, as we were living in the house throughout the project, he found solutions to help make the process as least intrusive as possible while still finishing on time.

And like many renovations of old houses (ours built in 1939), we came across unexpected issues (e.g. Outdated electrical and HVAC). He provided the facts and choices thoroughly and quickly, and helped us find solutions that worked for us.

As a fairly new homeowner, home improvement projects are a brand new world for me. I had been asking friends casually if they knew any good contractors. Most of the referrals were either ones who took large projects for big buildings or they were amateurs. When a trusted friend showed me her new kitchen, I knew I had to call whomever did the work. I am extremely detail oriented and OCD with my expectations and I could tell the contractors who did her kitchen would live up to my expectations. She gave me Alex's number from Eden Builders and he responded right away. He set up and appointment and arrived on time. He wrote out the proposal and sent it to me right away. Alex is a dream contractor for me because he is straight forward, has a strong work ethic. He is always on time, he manages projects to the tiniest detail, and always texts/emails right away. The workers he brings in to do all of the work share that same work ethic. They were always on time, professional and polite and detail-oriented for those with OCD like me. I wanted to break up my home improvement into pieces so I only did my master shower. It was a small project in comparison to what Eden typically does and for that I am extremely appreciative. I probably could have gone with a cheaper contractor but I am sure I wouldn't have ended up with this high of quality work. So, it's worth it in the long run. I absolutely LOVE my shower. It's a dream for me and I can't wait to do the next project with Eden.

We recently completed a home addition and kitchen remodel with Alex of Eden Builders. We went from 2 bed/1 bath to a 3 bed/2 bath plus a laundry room and family room. In total we added 592 square feet. We started the project a couple of months into COVID so my family ended up working/schooling from home during the entire construction period. It was certainly challenging to live and work in the space during construction, but Alex made it as smooth and comfortable as possible for us. The project lasted around 8 months and turned out lovely. We are very happy with the results and with Alex. Alex is excellent with details, multitasking, addressing issues quickly, and communicating. He is extremely responsive and always helped me sort through the millions of decisions I had to make. He provided options, and ideas when I asked him. He found solutions to problems that came up unexpectedly and was fair with pricing and timing.
I did a lot of research before hiring Eden Builders. I called references, asked a million questions, and requested photos. I’m so glad I found Alex. He is highly experienced, hardworking, solution oriented, and reliable. I would certainly hire him back for a future job or recommend him to friends and family. We are extremely happy with our addition and kitchen remodel.

We recently finished our 1st renovation project choosing Eden Builders and had Alex as our contractor. We met with him (and several other companies) and ultimately chose him based off his honestly, very thorough communication and referrals. For the job we did brand new cabinets, countertops, backsplash, appliances, lighting in our kitchen and new flooring across the whole first floor of our home.
Alex had a clear and well articulated plan, documenting every necessary exchange and decision with a paper trail and re-confirmation as needed. He and his team were on time, respectful of my family in the house and attentive to any item that we brought up.
We were concerned with the budget, but Alex had taken a very REAL approach to his estimate and all additions were either unavoidable or changes made by my wife and I along the way.
We had a couple issues with delayed materials (flooring!) and appliances, and Alex was always accommodating.
Most importantly, the quality of the work was great and I have no doubt, given they provide warranties for their work, that should any item pop up they would be just as attentive and great as we found them to be every step of the way.

We had an incredible experience with Eden Builders and Alex in particular. We’d heard horror stories about bad contractors, so we interviewed 6 different ones. Alex was so clearly the most professional and collaborative, we went with him. The bid was competitive- not the lowest, but also not the highest. It was worth it to us to pay more than the lowest, because we knew it was going to be a much better situation. We were thrilled. Not just with the outcome, but the whole experience. Alex was extremely communicative, he checked in with us almost every day. Telling us what was happening that day, who was coming and what time. All the workers came right on time. They were extremely professional, fast, neat, and they did terrific work. They even worked on Saturdays. When any questions came up, Alex came over himself and discussed them, answering our questions and fixing any situation that needed to be fixed. The job was done on time – well, 4 days after when we originally thought, but that was fine with us. Our partial kitchen remodel took 3 weeks and 4 days. Everyone else we talked to said it would take 6-8 weeks. It was impressive how quickly it all went. Alex always gave us a heads up about what to expect and when. He went way above and beyond to make us happy. We’ve already recommended him several times, because he’s that good and the workmanship was excellent. The whole experience was a pleasure. I cannot recommend working with Alex at Eden Builders more highly. My friends who’ve been through terrible experiences with contracts have been jealous, because our job was so painless and went so quickly. It was a wonderful experience and we’re happy on every level.

We just completed a project with Ron which included a total redesign of our front yard landscaping (including grading, running irrigation, low voltage lighting), putting in a new driveway and concrete steps, and building a reflecting pool in our atrium, along with brand new concrete in that area. Every step of this project went smoothly and Ron and his team took care to make sure we were happy throughout the process. My wife and I met with several contractors before deciding to hire Eden Builders. While we also liked some of the other contractors, we felt that Ron was the best choice since he was already providing some solutions and valuable information to us at our initial meeting on how to accomplish what we had presented to him in our renderings for the atrium and landscaping. We had seen the stellar reviews and photos of his past projects online, and honestly, he has been nothing less than fantastic to work with.

My wife and I are extremely detailed oriented and had been disappointed with contractors we had hired for previous projects in our home. Often times, I would have to repair their sloppy work myself, since I didn’t trust them to complete it to our standards. This was absolutely not the case with Eden Builders, and Ron would insist on having his team immediately fix any mistakes he or my wife and I noticed (which thankfully happened very rarely). We avoided running into any complications along the way with Ron’s good project planning. We plan on hiring Eden Builders for future projects in our home, and look forward to seeing Ron on a regular basis again!

I hired Eden Builders to remodel my kitchen. They replaced the countertop and backsplash, added in new cabinets, refaced the old cabinets, and built a beautiful hood above my stove. Alex was my contractor and he was really great to work with. He was professional, organized, communicative and detail-oriented. Throughout the project, the whole team was clean, friendly, respectful of the space, and available to answer all of my questions. They finished the project earlier than anticipated and did a beautiful job! I will definitely hire them for any future projects. I highly recommend Eden Builders and Alex!

Alex Voloshin & his team are fantastic. They recently renovated my kitchen and bathrooms. They also replaced my roof and even the fence for the front yard. Alex is now THE contractor for my house. He will be returning soon with his team to update and repaint the house exterior.

After researching and interviewing several construction companies, we signed on with Eden Builders to demolish the unsafe back unit that came with our fixer upper and build an ADU for my mom. The project manager we met with, Oren Yona, spent the most time with us during the initial meet compared to other companies. He asked a ton of questions to really get a sense of what we were looking for. Oren did not take a salesman type approach like some of the others we met with, but he sold us with his matter-of-fact demeanor, intelligent questions, and overall trustworthy vibe. He got a very detailed proposal back to us outlining the expenses, timeline, and pay schedule, and we signed on.

Construction began right around the start of the pandemic, meaning we ended up working from home and were able to watch the entire ADU project from demolition to finish. Every single crew member was super hard working and competent, and they work long hours to really stick to the deadline. (Any delays had to do with the city or with products I ordered that were held up in shipping.) Our foreman, construction crew, electrician, plumber, and cabinet maker were all super pleasant to work with. Oren really stayed on top of the project, making sure to keep the team on schedule, and me also since I had to make a million decisions along the way! I don’t think he sleeps because he’s emailing at all times. I’m very grateful they were so patient with all our questions and some of the inevitable last-minute changes and add-ons.

Since we were so happy working with Eden Builders, we asked them to stay on for a second project and remodel the kitchen in the main house when they were done with the ADU, parking pad, and fence. This was a complete gut job where they replaced everything, including the old electrical wiring, floors, and sink above the window. (They had a ton to fix.) Our kitchen turned out GREAT! We got the modern retro vibe we were going for and love how our customizations came out: Narrow broom closet with power outlet for our Dyson floor vac, narrow shelves above our shutters for Funko Pops, garden window for our cats to sun in, usable corner cabinets, pull-out cabinet for waste and recycle bins, coffee maker/mugs cabinet with pocket doors, hidden cat litter cabinet with cat entry near the back door.

We definitely plan on using Eden Builders in our future remodeling projects! It’s one less thing to worry about when you know the vendor you use prides themselves in good quality work.

We used Eden Builders to renovate 2.5 bathrooms in a house we recently bought. We love watching HGTV as much as the next couple, but were totally overwhelmed by the idea of overseeing renovations while managing our three young kids. Luckily, Oren and his team are the BEST and helped us step-by-step as we figured out what we wanted. Oren went with us to pick out tiles and fixtures, answered our calls and texts on the weekend, and pulled us back (a few times) from choosing things that would totally blow our budget. Oren was incredibly responsive, and if you’ve worked with contractors before, you know that can be rare! He also has a great eye for how things will look and really helped us figure out what would work for us and our family. We will definitely use Eden Builders for future projects!
