Edgewood Veterinary Clinic, Auburn CA

First time here with our new puppy. The staff was really friendly and gentle with our lil one. The Dr.was thorough, explaining everything I had questions on and gave me additional information on what to expect. We even received free samples. We will definitely be back.

My vet, that I used for over 15 yrs move there, so I followed him. So glad because he's the best.

So far this veterinary clinic is amazing. They haven’t tried to upsell me, and booking an appointment with them was very easy. Not to mention they didn’t make me wait for ever in the checkout process. This is definitely going to be my new vet. Just be aware that the waiting room is pretty small.

Great staff. They provided my pet's vaccination records for traveling on a moments notice. For the second time!

Recently we needed to take one of our cat's here, due to our regular vet being over booked.
They took really good care of our kitty and were really Thorough.
I would diffently recommend this vet!

They do not seem to care about our elderly dog. Literally takes them over a week to approve prescription for pain med. Bru is out of meds every month waiting. This morning they said we just got request for prescription today. 1800 pet meds had sent it and being waiting for approval from vet for a week. They said we set the prescription on one of the doctors desks but they aren’t in til Wednesday! I said can another Dr please approve it. I have changed vets after this. We also had made an appointment this am and they didn’t have it on the books and then said oh we can’t give him anymore pain meds again til he is seen for his annual visit. I said oh like the appointment I came to today that u didn’t even have down? I never write bad reviews but this is ridiculous. Our dog is old and in pain. The technician even said well we offered u another appointment 30 mins later which was not true. Our appointment was at 9 and they offered another at 10: 30. We have a daughter we are driving back to college at 10: 00.

Excellent Veterinary Clinic. Very clean and well organized. Timely and clear with medical information and cost. We’ve found our new Vet!

My cat had several pressing issues and wasn’t able to get into his normal vet. Edgewood worked me in. They expressed a lot of compassion in booking the appointment. Then the vet provided me with some really great information and suggestions that have since helped my pet. I appreciated her taking a lot of time to explain things to me and caring of my pet is in pain.

Bella is a mix breed that seems to have chosen me as her carer. She flew in from Antigua and drove over 3000 miles from Miami to get here. She has many obstacles to get over after being on the streets most of her life, but Edgewood gave me hope, advice and treatment to know Bella is going to have a for-filled and happy life. Dr. Hall and all staff members are professional, knowledgable and caring. They all given our goldendoodle "Bear" ultimate care!

We have an elderly Border Collie, and Edgewood has been with him since he was a puppy. Every step of the way, Edgewood has helped us make rational health decisions that take into account our dog's health and his quality of life.

They have done a nice job by our family.

Our cat had an infection we could not get her seen by our regular Vet, Edgewood Vet Clinic was so Great and Squeezed her in, they did fantastic with her took care of the infection and went far beyond by making sure nothing else was going on with her. Prices we very reasonable and the Staff was great keeping us informed. I’m glad I found this Veterinarian.

The entire staff at Edgewood Veterinary Clinic were just wonderful! We are new to the area and they accepted our young dog with open arms and took care of her medical needs in a very timely manner. 2021 Lucy recently had to have her yearly shots, and Edgewood Veterinary was so Covid 19 responsible and I was able to bring her to their location without having to go into the office at all. As usual they thoughtful and kind and made it easy and quick to take care of Lucy.

Edgewood is the BEST veterinary clinic we've ever used. They don't see dollar signs when you walk in the door.they see family members, friends, and their passion of life. I'm convinced that the whole staff doesn't work a day in their life, just because of the old addage "if you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life. " The very first visit we knew this was the vet for us, taking us for an unexpected surprise Dr. McCamy actually got on the floor in the waiting area to give some lovin' to and get to know our pitbull the first time she saw him. Dr. Zerbel shows just as much compassion and love for our pets too. Both doctors are extremely knowledgeable and actually CARE about your fur/scale/ feather babies. It doesn't stop at the doctors. Angela runs the front desk like a well oiled machine and it's hard to keep our dogs from trying to get back there to see her. Noel is the model of a vet tech who cares and knows her job. As anxious as our dogs are being at the vet (who wouldn't be knowing you're going to get a thermometer up your butt) they get so excited to see her. The whole staff are wonderful and treat your pets as their own. Great advice, great service.and a feeling of family. When it was time for Razz to cross the Rainbow Bridge, Dr. McCamy came to our house to help her cross and made it so much more bearable. It didn't feel like an appointment or just another client. She didn't rush or just "do her job", she helped us and the rest of the pack prepare for the healing and acceptance of our loss, and we couldn't be more grateful. From new puppy to saying goodbye and everywhere in between, we've entrusted Edgewood with all of our dogs and wouldn't have it any other way, they are a Godsend for pet parents. We very highly recommend them.

The staff at Edgewood Vet Clinic is unfailingly friendly, efficient, and caring. This was never more apparent than in this time of Covid; they had their protocols down pat - call in when you arrive, check in, mask up and hand your pet in to a staff member through the front door, receive a call when the pet's exam or treatment is completed, talk to vet about what was done, get any questions answered, pay on the phone, pick up your pet at the door. Smooth and efficient! We've been Edgewood customers for 50 years, from the days of clinic owner Virgil Traynor. We've never had a reason to go anywhere else.
