Educational Employees Credit Union - EECU - Barstow Branch

Had applied for a car loan back in January online and was approved. Now Valentine’s Day I want to get my car and they say I have to drive to Fresno to open a membership to get it final approval. It’s Friday 3 pm now so i have two hours to drive from Modesto to Fresno to open an account in the last three days of the loan to tell me this and they are closed Saturday and Monday. Thanks for the information ahead of time. BTW ROBERTS auto sales in Modesto will not accept this credit union’s business due to their business practices. Now I know why.shady, uninformative and disappointing credit union. I’ll stick with Patelco CU for all needs.

Had paid off a loan balance down to a total of $9.00; when attempting to pay a $9.00 balance EECU maintained an attempt to charge me a $50.00 payment. I was entirely prevented from paying the remaining $9.00 balance and am forced to pay $50.00 just to finish off the loan payments. This place is lackluster, outdated, and unreasonable with respect to its online services, charges, and mediums. Continued to wait 20 minutes just to speak with an associate about the matter, who coincidentally, did not answer. I plan on closing my account immediately after completing my loan payment as this service is egregious.

Excellent Bank, great family bank, very friendly and helpful Staff, Amanda, Tasha, Stella were alot of help to us and We’re very glad to have had setup accounts with this bank.

Credit rating 801,86K in the bank. Asked for 28K to install solar system and they couldn't give it to us instead offered 20k. This was absurd. They won't give money when you haven't got it, when you do they won't give what you ask for. I won't try them ever again for anything. Golden One here I come. Pretty Sad since my entire family has been with them off and on for over fifty years.

Great positive attitude of all of the employees I have had the opportunity to work with; especially in the line for the ADA members. Shelby is the best and really has a great attitude when dealing with members.

Slow. Long wait. You have money to give and they made me wait for over an hour to sign papers. They claimed the loan officers were busy but I saw two of them leave to go to lunch instead of helping me, the only person in the waiting room.

The line is always sooooo stinking long.seriously.dont go if you're pressed for time and cant use the atm.

This is a very busy place since there are not many locations around the Fresno and Clovis area. Keep in mind that if you want to open a bank account with them, you need to be eligible! They go off of Family and if you are a current student attending any educational establishment. The ATM as well as the inside will always be busy so try to go as early as possible or later in the afternoon when it starts to die down.

I've banked with EECU for quite sometime. The people are consistent with warm welcoming so excellent customer service. Their phone customer service is amazing as well!

EECU will do wired transfer in last seconds of next day! Title company didn't have any chance to close the escrow because of that.

Christopher at the teller window did a great job with my issue today. He took ownership of it, gave me advice on how to mitigate it in the future and resolved it to my complete satisfaction.

We love this bank and its fast and freindly service the line goes by quick and the staff is always happy to help no matter what the issue
