Edwin M. Lee Apartments reviews
3I recently moved out of this apartment. The apartment is nice however the management does not seem to be helpful for the tenants. They took almost $850 off my security deposit and out of this they charged almost $650 for painting as if it was the responsibility of a tenant to bear the charge for painting after moving out. There was just minor scratches in the kitchen areas which is obvious. The only reason they gave was ‘damages’. There is no reason they should charge $650 for painting. Furthermore, the current manager gives a 24 hour notice and never willing to adjust work schedule. The worst experience ever dealing with the management of an apartment.
As a former resident of Edwin M. Lee Apartment, I like the location and the environments. Most of the neighbors and staffs are nice.except the current property manager Suzette. I received some notices said I need to go to the office ASAP. I have a full-time job and each time I need to ask for a day off to go to the office during weekdays. The manager always no show in the office. So every time when I received the notice, I have anxiety. Fortunately I move out of bay area and I don't need to face these notices again!
I don't understand why Edwin M Lee, the former mayor of a condominium named after such a respected mayor, hires or arranges for a manager who is so rude and unprofessional every time. The last Sindy was very nice, but this year's manager, Suzette Moses, was so bad that she rarely showed up during office hours. Her poor attitude and verbal abuse when talking to residents about business was unpleasant to hear. She has threatened or issued many letters to the residents of the building to warn them about her delays because she blames them for their mistakes. If you can speed up your work efficiency, why are you still asking for more information or signatures after a year and a half? Is everyone free from work?
If the attitude is good, it is reasonable, but if the attitude is bad, she is not a good choice for the manager. If the management can find many residents' dissatisfaction with her in several messages, please replace this highly respected manager as soon as possible, you are not suitable to work here. Teresa is good tho
