Egg Roll King reviews
18Egg Roll King is a great place if you like inexpensive Chinese food. It is clean inside, and the seats are comfortable. Service is fast, prices aren't expensive and portions are huge. I ordered Mongolian beef, kung Pao shrimps, wor won tong soup for lunch to go. Everything was delicious.
If I am in the mood for Chinese I always go here I think they have great food, fast service, and are always nice.
Cream cheese egg rolls were good, but my roommate got food poisoning. I'd say be cautious with ordering anything raw
Selina At a girl king in rebel of California is amazing and it's supposed to be egg roll king.
In rebel of California Selena is amazing she's the best manager. She's very kind she's always helping out others and she always makes sure the food is hot and yummy.
Ok first of all, the service is kinda sucky. You have to repeat yourself ALOT when you pull up at the drive thru and the guy working the window is just slow to process information. He seemed lost and confused. Wait time sucks. I waited more than 20 minutes for my food. The food is okay but it’s greasy. I know Chinese food is generally greasy but this is really really greasy and I don’t like that. The jalapeño chicken was more batter than chicken. The sweet and sour pork was just the same and not enough sauce. The chow mein doesn’t have any flavor and the rice is flavorless as well. I’d rate the food a 5/10. But I am Mexican and i added a bunch of hot sauce and squirted lime all over it and a dash of salt and it bumped the score up to a 6.5/10. Would I return? Maybe yes, maybe not.
I really appreciate and exclusively opt for vegan here, since the chicken can be disgusting as others have mentioned.
The building suggests get the drive-thru option, no wait staff. Orders are executed quickly but it can be very busy.
Providing the guy taking orders isn’t mentally disabled, he was seriously high as a kite tonite! Almost every aspect was wrong… from having to repeat my simple order, to the wait time, to the end when I had to ask for sweet and sour sauce that normally go with egg rolls. The only thing he got right was he did give me back the correct change (kudos for learning simple math). I know the standards for mom and pop restaurants vary, but cmon people, pick up your game!
I just ordered a vegetarian sushi roll that is supposed to have avocado, cucumber, spinach, mango, and carrot. They gave just gave it to me with lettuce which wasn’t even on the menu, and cucumber and a slice of avocado, that’s it. I could’ve made that at home. Then I called to let them know, they told me they couldn’t do nothing about it and that they changed their old menu. But that’s not my fault, they should’ve changed the menu, I ordered what the menu said, I asked for a manager and they didn’t let me talk to anyone, worst service I’ve ever gotten.
Never ever again. Shrimp was slimy, sweet and sour? The pork was not coated and fried fresh, it was
More like chicken nuggets! And the beef? I left all food and soup and left. The worst I have ever tasted
Food was not very good, I ordered the teriyaki chicken with fried rice, the chicken was very dry, the teriyaki sauce was not tasty, and the "fried rice" is just white steamed rice with vegetables. Don't recommend.
If you like oil and spicy (just hot) food with barely any flavor then you've come to the right place. The bell peppers, onions, and cabbage, were huge pieces while the rest of the vegetables were barely there. The fried chicken pieces for the sweet and sour were very over fried and reminded me of rocks.
Greatest place ever just thinking down memory lane going here back in the 90s I loved this place
Food is tasty, place is clean, hard working and went above to make sure I had the correct order!
Sad to see bad reviews which almost made me not revisit this establishment. But because I have such fond memories we went ahead and did. Boy are we happy! We had a very gigantic order and they were on point! Hot quick not one item missing and the flavor was so fresh and good! I also have a MSG intolerance and I was not triggered! Will be regulars!
The last few times I've been here the food has been great! Chicken chow mein, Mongolian beef, general chicken, broccoli with garlic sauce are our favorites
Always been cooked fresh, it's still hot when I get home.my favorite dish so far is broccoli beef and the seasme chicken. Large portion size enough to have u full n sum let over. The only thing is the sauce kinda ends up all over they bag but can't complain about anything else
The food sucked. You would figure the egg rolls would be good. It's called the Egg Roll King for God's sake. All bad.
Quick service but freshly cooked! Amazing prices too! The variety of choices makes life hard.we MUST return!
