Breakfast Restaurant Eggslut reviews
18The best egg sandwich I've ever had in my life. The egg was light and perfectly scrambled, the cheese added flavor without overpowering, the sauce added a zing, and the bun was so fluffy and delightful
This breakfast sandwich can't be beat. For a lighter fare, I love getting the Fairfax, no bun - with arugula, avocado, caramelized onions. Order on uber eats pick up if you are in a hurry. Worth the wait if you aren't in a rush.
Located in the Grand Central Market where there are numerous of food vendors!
I ordered the Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwhich, and I thought it was great! Also ordered the truffle hashbrowns, I thought it was OK!
It was a bit salty and I couldn't eat it at the end. It was quite expensive. At least it was acceptable to wait in line until the meal pick-up time. There are also places for internal use, so you can try it.
Don't let the name fool you, Eggslut is absolutely amazing food if you happen to be in LA, if you miss it, you're doing yourself a disservice.
Always a lineup, and definitely worth the wait. Bacon egg sandwich and Truffle hash brown highly recommended.
The sandwich seemed reasonably priced but they wouldn’t give me a cup of water with my order. They insisted I pay $4 for a bottle if I wanted something to drink. The sandwich was underwhelming, a McGriddle is better. Hard pass in the future.
It's OK. Limited menu. What they do make is tasty but only breakfast sandwich and if remember correctly only 2 of those
We went with 10 people not knowing what to expect. With cafeteria style seating, this location is part of the Grand Central Market food court. The line moved quick on a Wednesday morning and the food was prepared hot and quickly. The staff was nice and patient, so thank the staff, say please, and be more neighborly in LA.
I ordered the Sausage Egg and Cheese sandwich, truffle hashbrowns, orange juice, and a glass bottle coke which after a 20% tip came out to $29
The original Egg Slut that you must try when you come to Grand Central Market. I ordered Egg Slut and coffee with Fairfax. It was packaged and it was neatly placed in a box so it was clean! The wait was about 10 minutes, and the staff were friendly, and I was able to see the cooking process, so I wasn't bored while waiting, and I also got excited thinking, 'Oh, is that mine? ' Fairfax's scrambled eggs were very soft and had just the right amount of cheese, so it was delicious. I was full just by eating one, and it tastes like something you can eat in Korea, but I think the original, the waiting, and the noisy market atmosphere make it even cooler Egg Slut comes with baguettes, but the baguette was a bit tough and soggy Egg Slut was a bit tough. The eggs were soft and the mashed potatoes were sweet and delicious! I think it would be nice to eat there at least once when you come to Grand Central Market!:)
Best dang hash browns known to man. That's all. Go there and get them, you won't regret it.
Busy busy place in the morning.
Was a line but it moved fast.
Food was worth it!
Best egg salad sandwich I've ever had. The truffle hashbrowns were outrageously good.
For “the slut” they serve it in a glass jar…. That then gets thrown out. They don’t use them again. Also, almost everything is compostable or recyclable and they don’t have either. SUPER WASTEFUL.
Drawn by its fame, I found the taste of the bacon sandwich very average. Will go just for the vibe of the market.
It’s good place, I’m my opinion it’s overpriced and overrated. I was expecting something more delicious after reading review about this place
First and only going here. Cashier is not trained in customer service. If a customer asks you a 2nd time to repeat yourself because we can't hear you above the surrounding noise, how about you answer without attitude. Or better yet, put a sign up that you don't offer free water to paying customers, so we don't bother you.
2 of the 3 sandwiches were assembled sloppy.
All 3 were greasy. I used 6 paper towels just to help eat my sandwich that kept falling apart. My fingers were greasy.
Paper towels? How about absorbent large napkins.
Eggslut is located in downtown Los Angeles in the central market. Quick, easy delicious gourmet egg sandwiches. Worth checking out. Be careful if wearing white they are a little delicious mess. The hash browns with truffle were excellent too. Nice staff easy to order fast turnaround.
