Eighth and Grand Apartments, Los Angeles CA

Jasmine was very helpful and kind when I came by the leasing office asking questions about looking into a new unit. She was very polite and patient with me. She wasn’t in any rush to go home and made sure all of my questions were answered.

I’ve been residing here since July under my family’s lease. I have been listed under the current residents since then. There have been longstanding issues like weekly 2am false fire alarms and confusing mail system that haven’t been much of a problem.

However, most recently I lost my key to the apartment. I tried to get in contact with management to get a new one, even paid 75$ for it, only to be denied upon pick up.even though when this happened back in November, it went off without a hitch. I’m not even allowed to pick up a temporary key to get into the apartment!

Now, my parents, who are immunocompromised, have to drive 6 hours in order pick up the key. This is completely unacceptable and incredibly inappropriate. Do not, under any circumstances, lease from here.

I loved living here before Covid. The amenities are some of the best in downtown. But now, I can't recommend it, especially for the price. Amenities are still closed and limited. They can only be used from 9-6 p.m. Don't move here.

Regretful of my decision to move here.

For the past 4 months I've dealt with noise issues coming from my upstairs neighbor. I've reported the issue several times however nothing has changed. It's beyond frustrating and very disruptive. The thought of knowing I potentially will not have a peace of mind until my least is up (in a year) is disappointing.

The parking gate/entrance on Grand Ave seems to be inoperable often. That can be quite frustrating as you have to circle around 2 blocks (due to DTLA one way streets) in order to access the entrance off Olive.

Garage door consistently has problems, but front desk never answers the phone in a timely manner to open. Packages get lost in their parcel system. Cute apartments but not worth the headache or price.

I toured this apartment complex a week ago and after checking out a few others I have to say this one was nice!

These are really stylish apartments in a fantastic location with friendly staff. As first-time apartment hunters, Veronica was especially helpful and patient with all our silly questions!

I’ll admit I wasn’t the most satisfied about a year ago, but the building and staff have improved tremendously. I just want to thank Ms. Brittany for always responding promptly and being professional and helpful whenever I needed feedback and thanks for acknowledging me whenever we run into each other around the building and even outside! The community is great.and so are the events!

I was very pleased and satisfied with the customer service that this place has, Rudy Camacho was my leasing agent and he did a wonderful job giving us a tour of the building and finding the perfect apartment for us to live in. I highly recommend Rudy Camacho, his friendly attitude will brighten up your day.

I currently reside at 8th & Grand been here for almost a year. I lived in Downtown for 4 years and this is by far my top choice from previous buildings I’ve lived in. Rudy has been great management, maintenance and amenities, also great! Only complaint would be neighbors.

I had an great experience working with Veronica at 8th and Grand. The process was seamless. She was responsive when I called and promptly set up an appt.for me to come in and learn more about their offerings. I appreciated that my appointment was as scheduled.
Veronica was insightful, informative, detail oriented and friendly. During my tour of the building, Veronica showed me a couple models that I liked. The complex has great amenities, an amazing gym, and is well maintained. Afterwards, Veronica patiently helped me to navigate through the application process and followed up with me to make sure all my questions were answered. Looking forward to moving in next month, the place awesome. Make sure to ask for Veronica if you visit 8th and Grand.

Joseph has been nothing short of amazing. He always greets me with a smile and a hug along with a positive attitude every morning. He has helped me with with any and all issues that I have had. The customer service he provides is outstanding, 10/10!

I love these apartments! The staff has been incredible to work with. Especially Veronica Garay! She helped me look at all the available units, worked with all my concerns and questions, and made it a very pleasant and easy to lease. She took her time to make sure I was happy with the decision. 5 stars for sure. Thank you!

Stephanie and Rudy offer me phenomenal above and beyond customer service. I got exactly what I wanted thanks to the help of Rudy and Stephanie if you have any questions regarding moving to downtown Los Angeles having a conversation with Stephanie or Rudy is a must.

Just signed up for this place and I couldn't be more thankful for having Veronica show me around. She was super helpful! She helped me find the exact apartment I wanted. She is the reason why I signed a lease here!

Ask for Veronica! She was an incredible leasing agent and made the process of finding a new apartment an enjoyable and fun experience. The facilities at 8th & Grand are amazing and the location is incredible!

Beautiful building! Loved the pools! My boyfriend and I met with Chanel C, she answered all our questions and was so sweet! Oh and it’s above Whole Foods! Definitely a good spot for a young couple!

Maintenance crew is amazing! Milton, Willie, JD, Enrique, Javier are the A-Team! Top! Always responsive, service is provided quickly, they are respectful or personal time and personal property!
8G is also in a great location with Whole foods right in the building! Pretty lit for DTLA
