Einstein Bros. Bagels, Chula Vista CA

I've made 5 online orders in the past 3 months. EVERY single time I pick up my order, it is completely wrong. Today I made an online order again, and 40 min later my order was not ready, and not found. I ended up getting a refund. This place is the absolute worst place ever. 100% chance you will get the wrong order.

Not only the prices are to high for the kind of food you're getting. Just 4 bagels with cream cheese (one without), no drinks $16.00
They didn't taste that good.
I've visited this store before and the quality and taste definitely are not there anymore.
They didn't look like bagels at all. We ordered spinach (flat bagels, no wholes) that we're super greasy and were just not that great.
Also, their next door neighbor came into the store and skipped the line by asking one of the girls behind the counter to make him "the usual", as she jumped into it while we were in line waiting for our turn. That was weird and rude!

They try. I respect them for at least that. And their customer service is fantastic only when they decide to reach out to you for a bad experience review. For me it was like a couple weeks.

Its terrible San Diego lacks good bagel spots. This place you are always rushed and the service isn't very good. But now you don't even get what you pay for. Burnt bagel you find out after you get home. Who the hell puts that in a customers order and thinks that's acceptable.

Super tasty bagel sandwiches, the bes part is that you get to choose which kind of bagel will be used with your sandwich. Also you can take fresh baked bagels to go by the docen.

Worst staff. 7 employees with a line out the door, and ZERO sense of urgency to get customers going. Moping around, talking to eachother without greeting a single customer. At one point the line didn’t move for 5 minutes while everyone was just moving like snails. Fire the manager, they clearly can’t manage.

There's no seating inside and it was very cold and windy outside. Definitely not pleasant

Let me start saying we love to go here and understand that sometimes will take more time to get your order when is packed. BUT yesterday it happens again, I place the order online via the app, arrived after 15-20 minutes and my order was not ready, wait another 10 mins a guy ask me twice for my name and he said will look into my order BUT not order came out. After 30 minutes same guy came (very polite) and asked me if I want the refund OR if still want my order? Of course I want my order and he just said maybe someone else took my order (Really? !? !? ! After been waiting for 30 minutes?).
Anyway, I let it go and understand it as a mistake. Once I get the order still have to wait 5 more minutes and asked 2 times for my cold coffee. Still I keep calm and understand.
BUT as soon as I arrive home and opened the bagels one of my 4 items was totally incorrect, wasn't the one I order, not the bagel we requested.

Again, I understand could be overwhelming for the guys working there BUT is unacceptable been that slow and still giving wrong order and not complete.

Hope the owner can fix and support his team and make us customers happy.

2. I just received today a response from owner. An is getting worse, first they called me "Miriam" LOL (See below if they still have the comment) and second they send me webpage where I most complain but is for different company an even if I try to fill the complain in there this location is not there. Getting worst.

1. This morning I order ahead of time and get 30 mins after I ordered and no order ready. I still have to wait 20 more minutes for an online order. What’s the purpose of order online if they are not ready? Seems they need somebody to look online orders and not only the ones order in there.

They were off today. Cashier was rude. I had to explain to a new visitor how things run and even with that, no one paid attention to him. They were giving the food out before cashier even charged. So waiting for my name to be called, but started charging others that just ordered. While im trying to pay and leave.

Really good bagels breakfast sandwiches definitely leave something to be desired and if you need to use the restroom you have to go next door

Online ordering system not working no one answers the phone at the store it's just a bunch of prompts was in a rush to pick this up on the way to a meeting and the store upon coming here is saturated and slow staff not so nice choose a different place.

The Texas Brisket is our favorite, with just an egg white- perfect for me! This place is typically busy majority of the morning, order ahead if you’re time limited. Staff is awesome!

No restrooms. Their customers have to go next door to Jack in the Box to use the restroom.

They make great bagels but don't really listen to the orders. Went Aug 8th and ordered 4 sandwiches. Got home realized I only got three. Called and was told I can come back and get the same sandwich. So went back today the 9th and got the sandwich I paid for but instead of getting the 2 egg farm house sandwich they gave me a 1 egg farm house. Don't ever write reviews but not going to call and complain again.

My wife and I went to Einstein’s on HSt for a Nova Lux this morning. After ordering our meals, about twenty minutes later, we noticed people who came after us getting there orders. I asked the so called manager Aaron about our order. He said we are making it. Several minutes later, we noticed more people coming after us and getting their orders made (not pick up) and leaving. I asked the manager again for our order and another customer who came in after us was getting his food and also asked the manager about our order. At that point our order still wasn’t being prepared, we decided we wanted a refund. I asked the manager Aaron to refund our money. He nonchalantly, “ said, I will get it after I finish doing what ever he was doing. The Manager showed no degree of professionalism nor did he display any customer management skills. We walked out thirty minutes later with no food, and bitter taste in our mouths vowing to never go to that establishment again. Horrible experience.

They have a good variety of bagels and every single one I've tried has been delicious! The service was great as well. I highly recommend it!
