El Burrito Jr, Torrance CA

I ordered the shrimp and garlic plate and was very happy. It came with lots of fresh ingredients and a good handful of shrimp. I put quite a bit of their house salsa on it and it was great. I took about half of it home and used it to make huevos rancheros for breakfast this morning. So, for about $20 I had 2 delicious meals, sounds like a great deal.

Worst place ever regret it so much food was bad smelly and waiters so rude hate it so much even don’t deserve one star

I went for lunch and ordered a pork tamale. Thesalsa was too spicy and the tamale had too much Mazza and not enough meat. The waiter told me that the burritos and tamales are pretty made and frozen. Then delivered to El Burrito Jr. So much for " Authentic Mexican Food. If it's frozen, it's not Authentic. Terrible service as well. The waitress I had, was taking to two Mexican ladies while I tried to get her attention. The same happened to 2 other guests. If the waitress wants to talk to them, do it on her own time.

DO NOT RECOMMEND, Costumer service experience with cashier was horrible, and not only with the cashier and with the server too! Food is not as good as it was many years ago. Disappointed. I would NEVER COME BACK! Straight up

Food is overpriced as most places but you don't get the quality you'd expect. It's conveniently located near other restaurants and businesses so maybe that's why it stays open. Have been there many times hoping it will be better. I just paid $13 for Menudo and it wasn't good. Alfredo's and Lucio's are much better, even Chilli Verde is better.

Chips and salsa were good, had a good flavor. Fast service the staff were nice. Carne asada burrito was a bit over priced, especially cause it was majority beans hardly any meat and one small dab of guacamole. Was kind of bland I think.

Big burrito very nice size but just a little bland. I'll bring my own salsa next time I stop here because their prices was reasonable for all the food they give. I had the shredded beef burrito enchilada style ayeee

This is my favorite place for authentic Mexican food! Their guacamole is out of this world and their chips are SO fresh!

I kind of feel the food is basic. Enchilada is swimming with red sauce and lots of melted cheese. People are very nice. Taco is the pan fried shell. Maybe I'm spoiled. Haven't eaten there for awhile for same reason.

Staff was great. Attentive and helpful.

Food was ok. More Americanized than I had hoped. Had carnitas tacos that were a bit dry. Not bad.

Chili relleno was weirdest one I’ve ever had. Was told that’s how they did it. Why not do it regular how a relleno is supposed to be like? It wasn’t good.

I got the nachos and the beans and cheese fell off all the chips and some of the chips had so much oil u could see it and it felt it had sweat on it

I have been eating here since I was in high school. Moved away from Torrance and came back recently to see it was still there. Dropped in and got a my usual burrito and it's still the same. Amazing. Also it was pretty busy for a Tuesday night. Glad to see they're still doing well

Good place to eat, food not to expensive. Just speak clearly, i asked for chicken enchiladas, and i got cheese enchiladas other than that, good place to eat.

Food was not the best, service is terrible unless you're white, the waitress was the worse part of the restaurant inpatient, rude and slow. She noticed we got upset and gave us a free juice refill to make up for her "service".

If you want good quality and decent price Mexican tacos/burritos, just go to your local king taco or tacos el unico. They have better flavor and cheaper with same portion as this place. I came here with over exaggerated reviews and I got charged extra, with a wrong order. The quality wasn’t that good as from king taco carne asada meat.

Food was great, service was great.only problem was we orederd a cheese enchilada and they brought us a chicken one which we didn't realize until biting into it! But the mistake was fixed In a timely manner and food was good.

Good food. Good service and Manager continued to check on on us as if we were VIP's. Salsa for chips was some of best we've ever had. Husband had their special smothered burrito and I had 2 enchiladas plate with rice and beans. We will return, no doubt.

First impressions can make or break an estsblishment. Upon entering the restaurant, two employees looked directly at us and neither had enough common sense to greet us. Just rude! We ordered 2 carne asada burritos and both were bland, mushy or thrown together. Horrible food and service! Save your money

It is always a great experience at El Burrito jr. It's one of our favorite restaurants to go to.

Food is always fresh. Place can be crowded pretty much all day. It's right in the middle of the hospital and mall in Torrance. They serve really good Mexican American styled food. Not that authentic Mexican but man it's good. The hard shell tacos are the go to and wet burritos. Surprisingly they also serve great seafood! And beer! Lol cheers
