El Burrito Redlands reviews
18 I'm staying in a hotel nearby and was looking for some good Mexican food. I found El Burrito and headed over there. The parking and walk-up window area is very clean. The people inside were doing their best to keep up with orders and the Health Department "A" was displayed proudly.
I ordered a "Green Chili" (pork) plate. I soon got an aluminum foil covered plate with a small box containing a foil wrapped tortilla and some salsa. I took the meal back to my hotel. On pulling off the foil covering, I found a brown mess - the chili verde, rice and beans looked so much alike.
I'm sorry to say, the flavor matched the looks - pretty bland. One saving grace: the hand made tortilla was huge (12") and for tortillas was one of the best in flavor.
Reader, if any review you read here helps you decide where to go for dinner, tap the thumbs-up just below that review. Thanks.
Great tortillas for their burritos, but not a fan of their ground beef tacos. Meat is a little mushy.
Friendly staff & great food and since 1957 speaks for itself My gf and I enjoyed the dining out area very much as it was quiet and clean Muchos gracias
My last visit was expensive and the food was disappointing. My chile verde burrito had no chile verde.
Just something about the taste of the burritos and their hot sauce and the service is always nice!
The best burrito in town. Hands down the best tortillas period. Try the special burrito (sleeper favorite) Tacos also classic. Been going here for as long as I can remember. Never disappointed.
I been eating at El Burrito since 1979. Oh my God, that makes me old. Still the great authentic Mexican food i know and love after all these decades. Super friendly staff. Try everything: Chili relleno burrito, chicken rolled tacos and enchiladas. Eat in the back parking lot.
Worst customer service, person behind the cashiers got to go. Ruined my order, got my money back and got my money back from the bank. They wasted my time and inconvenience they caused. Never again. I will spend more money at Taco Tia. We've been going there over 20 years not anymore.
Honestly, i don’t know why everyone is talking so highly about this place.i had a terrible experience.one, the food, the burritos were okay and in all of the dishes we ordered, the cheese was still whole and was not melted at all.second the customer service was also not the best.they had a straight up attitude towards us. Us being very respectful did not say anything, but we did not appreciate how they were acting towards us.we got 2 salsas, and when we asked for more, they were refusing to give us any more even though we were willing to pay extra.overall i did not have a good experience here and i do not recommend this place.
I loved it! The food, the service. Everything was really fast, on point! OMG so delicious. If you’re looking for good food and you are by The área. This is the place!
Just discovered they have a back dining area! Food is usually very good but no pico de gallo available. It is a take-out place. Not sure how often tables are cleaned, if you choose to eat there.
The Garbage Burrito was excellent. I look forward to sampling other items on the menu. Plenty of seating in the rear to take a quick breather from work and enjoy one of the best Burritos I've had in a long time!
Always amazing food, a little pricy but worth it, always busy, difficult to find parking always crowded. Not a single complaint though everyone know the food is worth the wait. Love this little place.
You can tell all the negative comments are white folks because they never have enough they think theyre Gordon Ramsey or something LOL! Food is decent compared to other burrito restaurants not everywhere do you get homemade tortilas like the WHITE American ones that are nasty disgusting. People need to be grateful these people work hard and FAST. No complains no attitude just hard work and fast service oh and GREAT PRICES keep your negative comments to yourself and cook at home if you dont like it colonizers.
Definitely not a bad spot, however seating is only outside and parking is tight. My husband was in the mood for burritos, tried this place he liked the Chile relleno burrito but it was small, and mostly full of egg. The garbage burrito of Colorado steak had but three pieces of meat, which was also not very saucey. The tortillas seem to be fresh made which was good, and beans the filled most of the garbage burrito had a good taste. Personally, I would not try again prices are a little high for such a meatless burrito. It definitely get packed with people ordering, wait time wasn’t too bad, but wouldn’t go back.
What a hidden GEM Great food. Great friendly staff food is always great fresh homemade flour tortillas. Family friends have been eating there for over 40 years and the taste and quality is still the same. Quite a feat in this day and age my favorite are the tacos and garbage burritoand they give you free sides of there homemade salsa not to spicy just right I'm highly ALLERGIC TO CILANTRO and they don't use it IN ANYTHING THEY COOK HARD TO FIND ANY PLACE TO EAT ANYWHERE NOWADAYS THEY DON'T PUT CILANTRO IN. MOST PLACES THEY PUT IT IN EVERYTHING ANOTHER REASON I LOVE EL BURRITO I CAN EAT THERE AWESOME FOOD ALL OF IT EVEN THE GUACAMOLE TABLES OUT FRONT AND BACK TO EAT I LOVE TO SIT OUT BACK AND EAT AND FEED THE BIRD'S AMAZING EXPERIENCE EVERYTIME I COME HERE AND IT'S 55 MILES FROM MY HOUSE AND WELL WORTH THE TRIP
I asked for carne Asada tacos. Paid, then was told they only serve beef tacos.sucks but ok, then had to wait 40 minutes tacos were too greasy and ton over fried.
Love this place! Small building but packed full of flavor! Definitely recommend any item with guacamole! Try a burrito or taco. There was a lot of people waiting upon arrival but line went fast. They have an option to sit out back at outdoor tables if you like. This is a hidden gem.
