Cafe EL CAFÉ reviews
15Exceptional turkey club. My son declared it "the best sandwich he's ever had in his life. " Avocado toast was also good on very tasty rustic bread. Reasonable prices and relaxed atmosphere. Small, but we were able to find a table inside.
Best espresso cortado in SF! Food was clean and tasty with reasonable price. Don’t forget to grab a fresh squeezed orange juice. The place became our favorite breakfast place.
El cafe is my favorite quick breakfast spot in the city! Prices are affordable compared to other spots in the city, the breakfast panini is 7.75! The employees are always super kind and quick. Love the mural too
Little corner store Café offering bagels, paninis, smoothies, salads and hot (coffee, hot chocolate etc.) and cold beverages (iced coffee, iced tea and sodas).
I had the breakfast wrap, it was very good. My mom had a plain bagel with butter and jelly and a Latté. She liked all of it. Overall it was a very good place to grab a quick breakfast but definitely not a bargain place. One wrap, one plain jelly bagel, can of diet Coke and a large Latté was $19. I guess $10 per person is the going rate for breakfast these days.
I wish they would've kept the front door closed, it was a little chilly in there.
Very small, cozy neighborhood coffee shop. Most of the seats inside were taken, but there are a few small tables outside, with view to the park.
The prices really make this place worth it.
Great paninis! Had the Siena and friend had the Parkside. Tasty!
Coffee was hot & tasted fresh.
Service was amazing and kind! We ordered the El Sunset and it was fantastic, absolutely wonderful place
Mocha energy smoothie, the most delicious think I’ve ever tasted. I’m genuinely obsessed, workers are always sweet and friendly. I love this place so much
Nice place to grab a coffee and peanut butter cookie.only complaint is they close too early. 5pm.
Love visiting this great corner cafe. Patricia is always friendly and her food/drinks are yummy
Coffee was delightful. Try the Mexican hot coffee. Warm and delighting. Pair this with a bagel sandwich it will not disappoint.
They have a very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely one of the best coffee spots on Taraval
I've been driving by this place wondering if "El Cafe" meant Mexican food. Sort of. I had a curried chickpea wrap, which was very tasty. Also, tea came in an attractive ceramic mug, which was a good hand warmer. I rated the atmosphere a 5 even though it was quite chilly because I get that we want lots of air (covid). It was a cold, rainy day.
Was craving paninis and salad and found this small cafe. It is located on the corner of taraval and 24th ave. I called in a house salad, turkey club and parkside. Their menu isn't huge, but they cover the important items. The food was ready fairly quickly. The paninis were fresh and hot. I loved the house salad. It was well mixed and tasted really fresh. It was a great place for lunch. Since visiting, I've come back a few times and there's always a handful of people hanging out here. The food is really good and I love how their salad is so fresh and has such a variety of items in it. They also serve breakfast items which seem just as good.
Great food and kind, personal service! Has a local feel. The only negative was they left the door open early in the morning so the place was freezing!
