El Camino YMCA reviews
17The staff at the Almond Elementary School YMCA are amazing and we are so fortune to have them. I have so much trust in them and they are amazing leaders, mentors and role models for my son. They are also wonderful communicators and it's clear that they truly care about our kids.
My kids (6 and 8) go for the swim classes here and the instructors are very good, especially for beginners. The instructor to student ratio is very good, and they are flexible with the individual child's ability. For example, while both my kids are in level 3, they challenge my older one more with level 4 like activities instead of being rigid about what they do in level 3. Ocean, the swim coordinator (and coach) is terrific and the individual coaches have all been excellent too.
Our daughter has been participating in the basketball YBall for the past 2 years and loves it. The coaches are amazing. Not only do they provide great teaching, they create a fun community spirit that enables the team to bond, and have fun while acquiring great sills on the court. I highly recommend YBall.
Your staff is above & beyond amazing. Specifically Nikita & Armani - they really connect with the kids and help them develop & grow into really amazing little humans. Highly recommend!
Love the swimming classes - your child will grow in their swimming abilities. Love the workout classes the high intensity ones kick your butt! Very welcoming and warm community.
Very nice place with variety of classes and programs. Always clean locker rooms, staff and other clients are so nice.
Safe, clean, well organized, friendly, calm and inclusive space. Good facilities, helpful staff.
Great place if you want to workout and you have kids. They have Care for kids which is best selling point for me. I just wish their care timing would he till 7 or 8pm and more flexible on the time of 2 hours per child if there is no waiting.
I would highly recommend YMCA.
Merry Christmas
I love that it’s open on Sundays and I can do bodycombat first thing in the morning with Bodypump. The facility is clean and all the instructors are amazing. My only thing is why is bodycombat with Delcy still 45 minutes instead of 1hr.
The yoga/Pilates classes are my favorite. Sometimes just riding the stationary bike and working on some of the machines is all I can do and they are available with little or no wait.
The group exercise ROCKS at this Y! Tons of classes, lots of different formats, and very high quality + genuine instructors. Working out at this Y delivers not only an incredible sense of health and vitality, but also belonging:)
I took my baby there since she was 4 month old and now she is 1. The post pandemic kids club staffs are extraordinary! Azita and Laleh are very experienced, skillful and Resourceful. I can’t thank them more. My baby has been well taken cared.
My recovery after the 2nd baby was much smoother, my muscles mass increased and my water skills improved. None would be achieved without the amazing kids club team.
No hassle. Clean facility. Useful, instructional signs are posted throughout the building. Many exercise options.
I love the spin and trx classes. I have found the instructors accommodating, understanding and encouraging. They are not too intense. I like how there are separate smaller weight rooms instead of one large area. It’s less intimidating. I’m looking forward to exploring more at the y at El Camino.
They are the best. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The place is clean. Love the outdoor pool. So much equipment and all in great shape. The other members are cool too.
I feel like the place fell off big time. No towels. Lack of equipment. Not to forget this place closes really early.
Caught athletes foot in the locker room. It was in the women's locker room despite the fact that I am man. No rules here!
