El Cariso Community Regional Park reviews
18Park always seems clean, the pathways are wide and maintained, there are posts that have containers with disposable baggies to Pick Up After Your Dog. The lights on the pathways are always on and bright to guide you on the path you walk, even late into the night. Watch out for the Coyotes crossing by though, they're always on the look for something to eat. Recommend taking a flashlight with you to scare them off.
I was at Parks After Dark event, I had a great time free sled rides for children. Vendor provided snow cones, Funnel cakes. There was Santa and Mrs Claus photo booth for families to get a photo. Singles could also get a photo. Free toy giveaways for children. The kids were very happy people brought their dogs to walk around. The restroom was cleaned.
My family and I visited this park, for an event, Winter Wonderland which is put on by La Parks. It is very spacious. My lil one enjoyed it, Last year we had went to another location. I would have liked to see some Musical Chairs though for different age groups and probably puzzle activities. However, it was a good event. I only noticed the after we left as my lil one pointed it out. Will visit again.
We had an amazing experience at the Winter Wonderland Event and can't wait to visit more! Thank you!
Hallowed ground - memorializes survivors of the November 1,1966 Loop fire 12 members of the US Forest Service El Cariso Hotshots crew lost their lives most of the rest of the crew suffered severe burns.

Love this park. Great for birthday parties especially for kids and if you have a lot of guests.
I just went to a birthday party my nephews it’s a beautiful park a Cariso Community Regional Park. It’s about 20 minutes from Magic Mountain about 30 from LA. 55 minutes from San Gabriel Valley. I got to say I was surprised how huge this park is. It’s very nice organized lots of restrooms lots of picnic tables, a lot of trees shades definitely looking forward to come back and celebrate a party. Or simply go walking or have fun me personally, I liked it. I will definitely go back when they celebrate a birthday or when they invite me for a Carne Asada. I usually post places where I go to good and bad places only.
Located in a place with easy access, clean, good family environment and above all bathrooms available until night
I've been going to El cariso Park walking for a lot of years and the recently 2-3 weeks nobody is replacing the dog replacement bag for dog pickup I asked one of the landscapers guys they told me they lost the key whoever read this please give them a key so they can replace the bags cuz people are not picking up their dog mess.
Very peaceful my dog was able to roam freely within the picnic area and found two new doggie friends
Great place to walk the dogs in the evening. Very nicely kept and the community is friendly. There are always people there playing sports, walking dogs or just enjoying the greenery. The park is patrolled regularly by the county sheriff and most of it is really well lit at night. I prefer this park over Hansen Dam as it's better maintained.
We had a church picnic in the park. It was a wonderful experience. People round about were cordially & friendly.
Best park in the valley. Staff is a little over achieving at times, manageable, but controlling most of the time.
Fun park with many playgrounds, a ton of space, a pool, 2 sports fields, large rec center, and more!
Walking trails, basketball courts, baseball diamonds, playgrounds for the kids, shaded picnic areas and plenty of parking. Restrooms clean and sanitary, go early in the morning when it is cooler. Dog friendly.
The park is big and beautiful, but the women who come here are DISGUSTING! They never pur toilet paper in the toilet, it's always all over the floor. They put feminine products in the toilets and clog them, and they NEVER flush the toilets. I don't know why women have to be so nasty. Don't come here if you like clean women's restrooms. The men's restrooms are definitely cleaner than the women's.
