So when it says opens at 12 that means not to the public, only open to the public on the weekends, what kinda shtuff is that. 84 degrees out an we can't use a empty facility, makes total sense. Who makes these rules up. Come on EC do better. Update, went to 3 stars because when we were finally able to enter on Saturday, the place was awesome. The lazy river was not operating which was a bummer. Concession stand has some variety, no warm foods tho. Life vest also provided for either an ID or keys. Lifeguards were on watch at all pools at all times. All in all had a great time.

If. WHEN it's hot as the center of an oven gets this is the place to go. Be sure to follow their IG to know if there is a private event or not. Be careful on the hot pavement I saw it cook an egg once

Date 9/03/21
I had a "reservation" for Lane 1 from 6am - 7am, I arrived to the aquatic center at 5: 55am ready for my swim which I paid for and reserved. There was a swimmer in the lane from the hour before whom kept swimming over her time limit. I waited a few minutes thinking she'd be out soon but 10 mins went by and the lady kept swimming being inconsiderate about others time and money.
I notified the front desk and they offered if I wanted a different lane or they can ask the swimmer to get out of the lane (please keep in mind her time was up) I kindly asked for my lane and she was told to get out. I didn't get into the water until about 6: 17am.

After my swim I wanted to file a complaint and ask for a refund over the situation (I paid 120 for a 3 month membership), the lady at the desk was highly unprofessional and began to make up false rules.she stated that it's 2 persons per lane, and that when a "walk in" wants to swim we have to share lanes. Again the lady was not a "walk in" she was swimming over her scheduled time. I then informed her that the rules online specifically state "lap swimming is reservation only" "swimmers must clear out 10 minutes before their hour is up". I also informed her that I paid for that specific lane and time, she told me that when I pay it is not for the lane or time but for acces to use the pool.
I then asked her why do we have to make a reservation and choose a time period.she didn't answer me and she just said she'll talk to her supervisor about getting me a refund.the front desk lady lied about "walk ins" for lap swimming, and how reservations are not valid for lane and time.

20 minutes may not seem like much but when you only have 1 hour it's 1/3 of your time being taken.would it be ok if you paid for something and only received part of it?
Again the lady in the front desk was unprofessional to me even though I was not the one breaking the rules, I was simply asking her to enforce them and to refund me my money.
I an not okay paying for a membership where rules are not enforced and PAYING customers are treated bad for wanting what they pay for

The swim instructors are very patient with the children. There's a lazy river, a competitive and shallow pool for kids.

Super fun place for water fun! Great toddler section, lazy river with lots of tubes, large pool, showers for rinsing and safety vests for rent with ID. You can drinks and snacks, lots of trash cans to keep it clean and plenty of life guards around which is great. Only warning is wear water shoes or prepare to burn your feet, ground gets very hot between water areas!

I feel as if most of the employees here, I either want to school with or met on some weird adventure. It's El Centro. The same cars will be praying by you all day.

A hidden gem in this small town

Tips:

Come early to get the nice shade spots with the beach chairs. (Ask the life guard for more chairs if you need it)

They prefer you make reservation before coming in, it’s located in the website. Random “Walk-ins” is not recommended due to limited capacity.

The “fancy tent area with curtains and soft chairs” are not free, they charge $15/hr & $45/day.

The lazy water is closed down until June.

They have a concession standing for snacks and drinks plus swim diapers, life vest, etc.

There’s swimming pool for all ages and a splash pad!

Entrance fee is $8/person if you not a resident of El Centro.

The staffs are super friendly!

Overall it is a great way to spend couple hours during the hot summer months!

The water aerobics classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays are so much fun. I struggle with exercise due to major back and neck surgery so this class was exactly what I needed. The instructors are fun and motivating!

Need to offer special pricing for veterans and seniors. Also maybe a yearly pass for unlimited use for one price.
