Chili Verde burrito was the best I have ever had. Prices reasonable. Fast and friendly service.
Great restaurant.

-Too dark, could not see my food (maybe for the better).
-Fajitas: Beef dry, bell peppers too think therefore uncooked.
-Drink: Manhattan was anything, but. (probably my fault for ordering a Manhattan in a Mexican restaurant, IDK).
-Carnitas: pork was dry.

PRICES ARE ALMOST DOUBLE THAN WHAT THEY ADVERTISE ONLINE!
They will charge you 20% tip without even asking, and the service was bad when not even busy.
We waited 15 min just to get the manu.
I would not recommend it and wont go back.

Food tasted great, good portions and service was good. Gratuity included for 2 adults and 3 kids so I guess that's a new normal.

The portion of the food is huge! Like one plate 3 meals size. The flavor is mediocre, I guess the quantity is what you are paying for.
Guacamole was not as we expected, tasted the guacamole I buy at Safeway, creamy without avocado.

We found it very good. You get water, homemade tortilla chips with a delicious salsa as a free starter and the main courses were also very tasty!

Great customer service, wonderful environment with a nice view & best part kids still saying remember the guy that was super nice will try this place again plus the food is great it was the slice cheese for me reason for the 4 star on food but everything else thank you will see you soon

I've been a customer at El Cid for 25ish years and it's a great place. Prices have doubled like everywhere else in CA. Had 1 Margarita to honor Jimmy Buffet. ~

Busy for a Monday. Lyndsay our server was excellent, perfect amount of sass and quick service. We always enjoy cooking off with our servers a bit. Sierra provided great teamwork in delivering our margaritas super quick. Margaritas were a bit small but they sure did pack a punch with plenty of tequila.

I had the Chile Colorado Burrito which is made with pork. It was flavorful and I enjoyed it. It was served with rice and refried beans. My husband had the top sirloin Rico Taco a la carte which he really enjoyed. We also liked their chips and salsa, and the strawberry marguerita. Our server Lenora was very friendly and very helpful with recommendations for dinner, as it was our first visit. We enjoyed our overall experience at El Cid. December 2022 (late post)

Service was fast, friendly, and great overall. Food portions were plenty large, the flavors were good enough - but not great in my opinion. A solid option if you're staying in the area.

Food from this restaurant is very delicious. We ordered quite a lot of food - quesadillas, enchiladas, tostadas, and hueves rancheros, they were delivered on time and tasted delicious. The waiters were very friendly. The ambiance is very good.

On way into Yosemite we noticed their parking lot was packed, we saw that as a good sign and returned later for dinner. The waitress was nice but the food…. Meh, chips were stale, salsa was watery and bland. The salad was lettuce in a bowl with a few carrot shreds and watery dressing. The main course, steak, rice beans and cheese enchilada was mediocre at best. The enchilada had canned sauce (I’m very familiar with this canned sauce). Definitely not worth the price.

This place has great food with excellent customer service. Our server Lyndsie was kind and helped us when we were having a tough day. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends. Thanks once again.

Service was good and staff friendly. Food on the other hand was more like a tex-mex. Tasted horrible pretty sure I got food poisoning from there since breakfast was just an apple. I do not recommend this food to anyone the taste was simply not good.

Nice restaurant, good food. Chips were nice and hot and salsa was fresh. Would eat here again.
