This place has very good Birria tacos and cosmue i didn’t give them 5 stars because last time I come here there cosmue was very bitter.

This place has THEE best birria tacos and consome. You’d never believe it’s located in a gas station.

The taco shells are dipped in the consome before frying to get that taste and texture. Then they add heaps of beef. And you have to get an order of consome, it’s thick, rich and comes with chunks of beef. It’s practically a beef soup by itself! I really wish this place wasn’t across town from me or I might be visiting a dangerously amount of times. Seriously come here. After having the birria tacos and consome here, I haven’t been able to find another place in Sacramento.

The only down side I really don’t like is that blast the music way to loud in there! I get it you want to play music to fit the vibe of your food and that’s all fine, but the noice is just too loud. Atmosphere would be a lot better is they simply lowered the volume.

Super irritating I paid $20 for 3 tacos and they forgot to give me my rice! I was already in old sac by the time I realized. Feel like they did it on purpose. Won't be going back there. It's also inside a nasty gas station off of fruitridge and it smells like pee and homeless inside and outside

Had the Goat (Chivo) Tacos Dorados. The meat was juicy, the taco shells were perfectly crisp with the right amount of cheese, onions, and cilantro.
I’ve been searching for a goat Birria place for a while now and this is now my go-to place whenever I come to Sacramento.

Will try the goat burrito next.

Meat choices are limited to beef or goat.
The food is so simple and delicious. You're probably gonna think that this food shouldn't taste this good. Because when i dip those goat quesa tacos into the birria and take a bite, "sheeesh". If you like fresh, simple, delicious food.
You're going to love this place.
Kinda in the back of a gas station. Keeping it a secret spot, gotta be brave and patient to be rewarded with this food. Oh yeah, you best bring a bunch money because it's gonna cost you. Worth it, though!

This spot never disappoints! Do not be alarmed by the gas station's storefront. This restaurant rivals the birria I've eaten in Mexico; it's just outstanding! I've given many people this recommendation, and whenever I'm in the neighborhood, this is the only place I think to go for some fantastic goat birria!

If I'm in the area, I'm stopping here for birria! I love getting a large consomme to take home for birria ramen.

Much welcomed to find this Gem in a gas station of all places. The quesabirria tacos with goat (the real way). And consume were amazing. I'm so glad I found them. I do feel they are the best in town. Will be back.

Had my first experience with birria tacos today. I've been to Mexico a number of times but never had the opportunity to have birria tacos until today.
The taste was quite good and most definitely will be visiting this gem again. I had the beef tacos that consisted of tortillas dipped in some sort of stock then grilled to lock in the flavour. I also had the tostada version of the tortilla and yes it worked just as well with a slightly different flavour.
The meat in the tacos was nice and tender. It reminded me of the texture of a nice pulled pork.
The sides, cilantro, onions, radish complimented the taste and texture.
Will I go to El Cora again, my most definitely answer is yes.

Hung over from last night, we stumbled on this place. I was hopping for a nice restaurant, but when I pulled up I noticed it was a gas station. At first I was skeptical and was not down to eat at a gasstation. Low key nasty. But I went in and ordered queso taco conbirria and consome. The food was pricy but amazing! I know birria and this place has the best birria tacos and consome hand down. I'm glad I stumbled in here.

Taco place in a gas station. The birria tacos are pretty tasty. The quesa taco is where it's at! They have a few tables inside sp you can eat there if you want. The consomme is really good. I recommend if you want some yummy birria tacos

Food is good but very pricey for what it is. The dipping sauce for the quesabirrias is $5 something for a small. When I opened the small container it was half filled.
