A huge place. Several hikes to choose from. There is a one mile, two mile and 5 mile hike. A nature center with great gifts and some kid activities. They hand out scavenger hunt sheets for the kids! So great! I got regularly.

I love this place been coming here for many years. I even dropped acid one time and drove here to see the turtles.

Did a 2 mile trail, mostly flat. Saw ducks, turtles, beautiful trees that shade the area above you and the way the sunlight shines through.its just so beautiful. There's a little info building in the beginning where you can read more about some animals and the park. So cute.

I've enjoyed coming to this park since I was kid, and will never stop loving this place. It's one of the largest parks in the area, full of areas for events, dog walking, and more! The price is fairly affordable for an annual pass, and you're given access to so much in return!

I've been here several times with my kids. Good for family walk and very beautiful trees all over.

I stumbled on to this place while riding bikes with my grandson in El Dorado Park and the SG River path. We checked it out, and it was pretty cool. A nice little nature hike for everyone. My 6 year old grandson liked it very much. I recommend it.

I almost cried. I haven’t gone out much these past few years, mostly because I didn’t own a car until now. I will 100% recommend this place to my friends and family. It’s so beautiful and don’t get me started on that amazing Earthy sweet smell! If you guys are planning to jog I recommend you go around the 2 mile trail. The turtles usually come out to bask at around 10-11am. Btw, they have a soft shell turtle in the pond! I was very surprised by that. Overall a fun and new experience for me.

A beautiful walk. Lots of shade, even flooring, and lots of families and kids too. One of my friends was even able to to go through with her walker. A great way to spend the morning!

Enjoyable outdoor walking path. $8 weekend parking seems steep so plan to spend the day here.

The nature center has a beautiful quarter mile walking trail that's set aside from all the bike trails that go through the rest of the regional park. It's almost indescribable. You have to see it and experience it in person. It's a real treat for the senses. The sights, smells, and sounds of nature completely surrounded me. The trail is dotted with different types of sage and pine. The trees are alive with friendly little squirrels and birds. The little lake is actually clean enough to sustain families of turtles.

If you live in Southern California, visiting El Dorado Park is a must. We are so excited to discover this place having lived in socal for 16 years. We immediately bought the annual pass (you can only do so on site in the museum). Your visit can be a short two hours walk of 2 miles trail completely covered in shade and criss cross a clean swirling creek many fish, turtles and ducks call home. It can be a day long trip around one of the three lakes surrounded by lush greens, yes, even in the deadly heat of summer roast. Bring picnic or BBQ equipment. Or make a hungry hunting trip in nearby Cerrito eatery before returning to the park.

One of my favorite places in Long Beach! Beautiful wooded area, lots of people at busy times, but still feels peaceful and remote.
