Great little restaurant! Clean, generous portions, good ambiance, and great grilled food with fresh sides and delicious, toasted bolillo rolls for the tortas.

We were meeting old friends for lunch and my husband knew El Gallo Grill from growing up in the neighborhood. It was good to see it is still serving the community.

And Jesus did an amazing job as the "everything" man. Give him a raise!

FOOD was AMAZING! It NEVER knew it existed. My friend Rolando invited me to eat there before the Roosevelt Vs Garfield Classic. I wasn't planning on eating cause I had a BIG Lunch. I decided on the Chicken Grill plate. DELICIOUS. I have to say. I was EXTREMELY surprised. The icing on the "CAKE" was the AWESOME service that was provided by our Waitress Mariana. She's AMAZING AWESOME. Great attitude. Went along with our BAD JOKES. Great Attitude. Great personality. NO DOUBT. I will return and will recommend ALL of my friends to eat at "EL GALLO GRILL! " The ONLY problem with El Gallo Grill. Trying to get a hold of them is IMPOSSIBLE! I must have called and left 6 or 7 messages. My Birthday is the 11th of November. So, I just wanted to make sure they were going to be open since it is Veteran's Day. Not only did I leave 7 messages. I also made reservations for 3: 30 pm. I wanted to celebrate my Birthday with my sister and niece. NEVER got a call back nor text nor e mail reply. So. My Familia ended up at CASA FINA on 1st street. We took our business to CASA FINA. Food was Delicious. My Familia and I had an AMAZING time at CASA FINA. They actually answered the phone. A real person answered the phone on my 1st try and I was able to make Reservations for 4 people. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE El Gallo Grill. You HAVE to do something about your phone system. It's the worst I have EVER experienced. I LOVE the location and Food is AMAZING. Waitresses are AWESOME! PHONE SYSTEM SUCKS!

SO GOOD! The staff here is phenomenal as well. It was extremely busy and I was seated within 5 minutes, quick drink and food orders, and they are cleaning tables constantly.

I was waiting for so long for this place to open back up. I was a bit disappointed with food. It was ok not as good as it was before. Customer service was good.

The ribeye tacos were delicious well seasoned and tender, also enjoyed the cucumber water. We ate outside in the patio it was a relaxed setting with flower planters, birds chirping, and music playing. The service was good too. I shall return

This place is certainly one of the most attractive restaurants in the area. Every time I come to this place I am truly pleased. They keep their high level service and the highest level of cooking they provide. You definitely will enjoy this this restaurant. Very recommended.

This place never disappoints. The food is fresh and simple. The agua de pepino is so refreshing and the green chorizo is amazing. I highly recommend.

Service and food was great. My only probable is that I am on the short side making it difficult to sit on the high stools!

Excellent quality and healthy food and drinks! Atmosphere is casual and relaxing with sports playing in the background but not loud. One of my favorite dining places!

If your not on door dash remove your business from there platform.and maybe then I wouldn't be out 127.00

Is disappointing that they don't know how to make caldo de pollo or caldo (cosido) de res. They don't cook the vegetables right. They need to learn how to cook the caldos

Excellent eating experience. From walking in the door and being greeted by Erick (who with out a doubt is one of their best staff), seated and drink order taken, was maybe 5 minutes. Meal was served hot and excellent taste. Server was very friendly and helpful made us feel so comfortable. He treated my family and I with so much respect. As soon as he saw that out glass was empty he would refill. Food is great as well. Very tasty and really authentic food. 100% recommended.

Delicious I love the melted cheese/green sausage they served a very generous portions of meat in the tacos
