El Monte Comprehensive Health Center

Very polite people working here, but I'm currently here. I've been here for longer than an hour now. They put me in a room and have been waiting here for 30 minutes now without a word as to what I'm waiting for. Came in for pain in my legs. I feel like they forgot about me, and I'm probably going to walk out of here soon. The lack of communication is not cool. There's not that many people rn. I get that they might be busy, but I have other things I need to attend to as well. This is why I tend to just not come for a check-up anymore, lol.

Edit: Scratch that. Shortly after submitting the initial review, I was seen.

Just had my first appointment and was very impressed with how organized everything is and everyone is so helpful, polite respectful and friendly.

They did really good job.

Worst medical treatment in life. Do not go here. A professional medical advisor violated my civil rights and HIPPA rights. I already notified Human Resources, about this behavior.

I had a good doctor but after a year they permanently transferred me to another doctor without any notice or reason. They also lied to me. Saying the doctor no longer works here. No idea what's going on. Tried to get answers but no success, just the run a round.
UPDATE 05/01/2023I have yet to see the new doctor in person. Only had one phone appointment and that was a flop. Today I needed to talk to him about my diabetes. Keep in mind he nor anyone else has given me any information on how to take care of this. I called and spoke to the receptionist who told me there's an open phone appointment and do I want it? I said yes. Then she put me on hold for several minutes, came back told me there's no open appointment and the doctor isn't in. She said the nurse can call me. I said ok. Then she said the nurse will call tomorrow or Monday. I do have an appointment for an actual face to face appointment later next week. Hopefully he won't cancel.
UPDATE: I finally had a face to face appointment with the new doctor on June 7,2023, I felt like he was in a rush and really didn't put me at ease concerning one of my meds. The med he put me on was in threat of being taken off the shelves due to liver and muscle damage. I tried to talk to him about my diet and frequency of glucose testing but the subjects were dismissed. Unfortunately I'm getting my diabetes information from the web and social media. I no longer go to El Monte Comprehensive.

I was quite pleased to arrive 10 minutes before appointment, and I was seen immediately. The parking lot is not fancy, yet it is conveniently located close to the health center entrance. Service was great, and

It took me 2 months to get an appointment. While I am on my way to my appointment, there was a phone call said "Oh, sorry! Doctor is busy today, he can't come with your appointment. We need to reschedule another appointment for you. ".
Guess what, another 2 and half month. OMG, what a shame!
I gave up!

Horrible place. My boyfriend walked in to urgentcare with chest pains at 9AM. The nurse went to the doctor who said he had to return at 12: 30.with chest pain! Then at 12: 30, he examined him and sent the nurse to tell him to go to the ER immediately. Obviously it was an emergency. Didn't have the decency to tell my boyfriend himself.sent the nurse! He calls himself a doctor? How do you sleep at night, Dr Chan?

Came right before the 10 minute window and still didn’t want to see me for my appointment at the pediatric clinic

Clean, friendly, and get you in on time; within 15 minutes, if not less, before your appointment.

I have not been checked at this hospital but the people here are generous when bringing a family with disease or sickness.

: (: (Unsafe, SAD location! This facility is way overloaded, I recommend going to a different place for care. They offer lots of services, but they are bad at all of them! Everything takes forever, and the place is dirty (every part). As a patient you have options, trust me choose a different care provider. Walk ins are bad (impossible to access), blood draw/labs bad (scary dirty!), hard to make appointments; just failing on every level!: (: (Just SAD

I'm going to a diffrent Dr. SAD, SAD, SAD, and more SADNESS!: (If you like feeling unwanted and sad, then this place is perfect for you, because SADNESS is all your going to receive from this location and its staff; just sadness and more sadness!: (And maybe a case of Hepatitis, they are not clean and dont use fresh gloves in the lad area!: (

One of thee worse hospitals I've ever been to. I changed maybe about a year ago because this was local but man was that a mistake. I take albuterol for my asthma and my Dr never answers, I called the nurse in charge when he's gone nobody has called back. I called the after hours number for the insurance, and they proceeded to give Mr only one prescription yet I've been out of it for months. You'd think they would of provided me the 4 units of albuterol to help for the missing ones prior, but nope. So I have recently ran out, called back again and again nobody has called me back nor filled my prescription. This place is awful, not only is the vibe and energy negative, things don't get done here. I was also told an employee there posted info online and my number was leaked on a Instagram story. They are unorganized and unprofessional. I'll be looking into changing primary clinics soon

Needs to take a quicker time to call while in line second person outside talking on phone so only one person to check in in adult clinic.

I have been going here for the past 5 months and the service its great. They have great doctors
