10If you want mexican breakfast don't come here they only have lunch and dinner items. They are very pricey and not worth the money 264.32 to be exact the drinks were very poor as well.
One of the worst restaurants they over charged for one taco $7.50 the service took forever and we had to call out a waiter to come and serve us the food was somewhat decent and I am never coming back to this den of thieves of a restaurant
Server understood that gluten free means no flour. She directed me away from the enchiladas because there is flour in the sauce. I ordered tacos with grilled chicken. Amazing! Salsa verde is to die for. Perfectly hot with tons of flavor. The table salsa is hotter that what I can get at home. Nachos were amazing!
You’d think that in a tourist destination they’ll price gauge you, however they’re fairly priced and the food is delicious. Also, try their Margaritas (they’re huge, so be careful).
Try the Enchiladas.
Attentive staff working with a smile and checking in on you constantly. Kid friendly as well. No BS “healthcare fee” added to the bill either.
Total bill for 3 with cocktails and 20% tip: $128usd.
Will come back here.
Randomly stopped here after a rally downtown. Prompt seating on a Saturday afternoon. Nice outdoor patio ambiance, albeit a little cramped with close seating. Not much selection for vegetarians but the rice and beans are safe! The veggie fajitas were alright but not worth the price in my opinion. Looking forward to seeing what else Olvera street has to offer!
Went to this place today 5/29. Too pricey for the food. I ordered the enchiladas, didn’t have the red sauce as shown on the pict. It had regular tomato sauce used to make rice. The rice and enchiladas taste the same. My daughter got the sopes, the meat was like birria meat. Not carne asada as shown in the pict. Suffice it to say food wasn’t that great. As is they tried putting a dish together with what was left. I’ve never had enchiladas w rice tomato sauce. It was gross. 2 margaritas, a plate of enchiladas and a plate of 2 sopes was 96.09. Not worth it
German and Rafael are serving fabulous beverages at the bar. Food is incredible. Legacy is unsurpassed. I will see you there and buy you a beverage.
We ordered our food which was very tasty. But then desert came. Or it didn't. We ordered 2 fluans and a child iced cream. Then we watched an order go by 7 minutes later. We asked about our order, and or waitress came back and said they only had 1 flan left. Then 10 minutes later they came back and check on us. So the manager said he would check on our order. 8 minutes later, he came back and said they had no flan or ice cream. And never compensated us. After almost 30 minutes. What a waste of time and no communication. I'm never going back.
Fantastic service! Great food! Really a must visit if you are from out of town. Heck if your a townie get down there too
German food is not my favorite. The prices here are pretty high but they give you pretty large portions. I had the cheese spatzle and it had an odd texture. I had a couple bites of other meals include the schnitzel which was perfectly fine. The service was good and the draft beers were great. I got a light Hefeweizen which was quite good. Considering Beigarten and Rosalind's Sausage are nearby, it felt especially hard to pay the prices
