19The staff is great. They remember my name and the special requests of my orders. Parking can be tight in the restaurant lot during the lunch rush, but there's plenty adjacent to the store, in the shopping center's lot.
Food tastes great. If there is a problem with the order, El Pollo Loco manager knows to apologize and make it right for the customer. If the customer had to drive back because an item was missing in the drive-through order, El Pollo Loco will offer something for free when the customer picks up the missing item. That is the best customer service because the customer had to spend time and gas to pick up the missing item. This is a rare quality nowadays, "making it right" for the customer.
If you’re on keto, like me, sis! Try the chicken avocado salad. They also have other low carb options if you’re curious.
I love ordering through app and pick up. It’s quite convenient and orders are always ready by the pickup time. Friendly staff at this location.
Please don't advertise you're open 24hrs if you actually aren't. I'll update my review when you fix the hours here.

Have been coming to this branch for ages. Never had any issues. Customer service was always great. Careful for that drive thru door you could get hit if the driver is lame.

Second time in a week that they screw up our order
The first time I thought, you know we all have bad days, this time. It was completely wrong. Someone needs to fix the drive thru intercom.somethings got to be wrong to get it the order this mixed up.
Time to revamp this spot!

First time here, I liked the decorations. The service wasn't that good but I'll give them another chance next time I'm around tht area
The good:
The chicken - mmmm. Nothing special but it was nice and tender. This alone I'd give a 4 or 5.
The corn side - It just tastes like it's straight from the can with just the barest hint of some spice but I love sweet corn
The bad:
Door dash online ordering - our family order was supposed to come with 3 flour tortillas and 2 corn tortillas but we did not receive a single tortilla. I'm honestly not sure who's at fault here though.
Pico de gallo - it tasted like not quite ripe chopped tomatoes and that's it. No salt, no lime, no nothing else! That was disappointing
Tortilla chips - they were just OK. Have had freshly made at other restaurants that have been better
Will give the restaurant another try but with different sides next time
Not normally one to leave reviews, but after 4 separate visits in the last month where they forget an item each time is getting ridiculous. Really wish there was another El Pollo Loco close by.
If you do a mobile order beware they will mess it up!
Also when asking for the red suace, even when you explain you are not talking about the chunky one (pico) they will still ONLY give you the PICO! Insane!
Great, fast service no wait. EPL has been my go to spot lately. The bowls are a great healthy option and always fresh. Some locations close early which is understandable. But I've been to many all across SD county and my experience is usually always good.

I went there Sunday at 11: 00 Am June 6. My whole order was really old. I feel like it was left over from the night before! The Guaq was brown, they tried to add lime to that fact. I called to to talk to the manager he said everything was made fresh. Clearly it was not.
I came here at 9: 45 and they had already turned off the lights and locked the doors. Definitely not open until 10. What a joke. How about sticking to the poster hours?
Some of the best "fast" food around. Great healthy side options to go with the delicious grilled chicken. BRC burritos are great for a snack for later too. The tamales are great on and worth a try.
Food is great, but I don't like the fact that they don't put sauce in your order, you have to ask them for it
Somewhat disappointed. I tend to enjoy there spicy guacamole salsa, but this time it had no flavor or spiciness to it. I sure hope they return to normal so I can return to enjoy there salsa.
