El Pollo Loco, San Diego CA

I will never go back. The chicken was small and over done. I asked for dressing for my salad and they wanted to charge me for it. I said no. Then I said look at it. You never put any dressing on it! I can't eat a dry salad. The chiro was dry. I miss the black beans years ago. Even with a coupon I will not go back.

This location is one of the best! The workers always friendly and helpful. The guacamole is great and always give you a good portion!

It's one of the cleanest, quickest Pollo Loco locations I know, been coming here for years never had an issue

I loved the service and they helped me out. Very nice people and very clean. They had a game where you spines the wheel and I won a churro.

Always satisfied but today I tried the chicken breast and wings the breast was so overcooked and dry.

Soon as I walked into the door I was greeted with a welcome. The staff was friendly and willing to take my order. She recommended the chips and guacamole so I got that along with my original bowl. While I was eating inside a staff member asked if i was ok and needed anything. I can't remember a time when a staff member asked me that in a fast food place. It threw me off but I was happy she thought about me. I finished my food and the staff thanked me for coming. The next two times I went and experienced the same great service! I highly recommend this place and I will keep coming back.

The bilingual woman who was working the drive-thru window (and I believe taking the order as well) at 4: 28pm on April 11,2023 was so so nice and accommodating. Just her smile and energy made me want to hang out longer, but that would have been weird. Anyway I live 4 miles away and I’ll definitely come back. Food was fire too (of course).

The big special chicken tostada salad had a little bit of dry chicken. Over ten bucks. Not good.

Maria and lupita have an amazing costumer service went in got my food fresh! And no issues nothing missing and no wrong orders. They have an amazing attitude and very quick on taking out the orders definitely coming back I love how they treat me at this location. Thank you pollo loco.

The half of chicken was half of the little cornish or hens supposed to have for 2 people but was not even for one, I wonder where do you get this much tiny chicken from.

Great customer service from the employees, always super professional but the food quality has went down. I would frequent this spot a lot over the last few years but in the last 12 months the quality has went down. Considering their prices have raised and their Rewards program has changed for the worse it’s not worth the weekly visit anymore.

The food is still good and healthy but they should bring back the black bean bowl. Way better than pintos.

People are nice but sometimes the language barrier gets in the way. I don't want to say broken English, but that's what it comes down to. But really nice people. Also get fresher avocados. Their always black or brown.

They asked what kind of tortillas I wanted and then didn't get any. I really wasn't in the mood for tortillas and didn't even realize until I was 1/2 way done with my meal.
