El Pollo Loco, San Diego CA

I sent my son there to buy a 4 piece meal and two other things. We were charged for what he orderd, but there was a second transaction on the card for $6.99. There’s no real explanation for it. SMH

Best Pollo Loco so far for me! Trust me when I say I have been to over 30 Pollo Locos (what can I say, I love crazy chicken) and this one has been the best one. I ordered through uber eats and not only was my chicken delicious but everything was sealed and they did not forget anything in my order. Simple but not easy to find these days. Kudos to the workers at this Pollo Loco, seriously take a bow.

Honestly out of all the "fast food" options available el Pollo Loco really tastes like real food.

Great place! I haven't been to an El pollo loco in a while, but this one was great. The workers were very friendly and accommodating. The food was great. The restaurant and restroom were clean and kept in order. They also have good quality high chairs for babies.

Overall, a great experience!

I thought I didn't like El Pollo Loco until I started going to this location. Everything is served fresh, and it's delicious. I usually get the double chicken salad and the avocado is always ripe and green and the lettuce is always clean and fresh. Also the customer service is usually super friendly and in my probably 100 visits they've never gotten my order wrong.

From the first moment you step in that place the waiters give you a pleasant feeling. Very friendly crew, it is a lovely place to enjoy with buddies or with your date.very good meals, specialist chef de cuisine, reasonable pay and attentive service. Warmly recommended.

So disappointed. Just tried the new place in Poway this evening for a late night snack. Maybe it was too close to closing time. Ordered 4 chicken street tacos. Got home 2 mins later and they were icy cold, soggy and tasted awful. Seemed as if they had just been pulled out of a refrigerator and packaged quickly. I usually love the food, but this was just bad.

Gave me boneless, skinless.dry chicken breast instead of the 2 breast ordered. Didn't give me salad dressing until i asked for more. Didn't give me the right salsa. Forgot the tortillas. Zero star's.

Just moved to California and found out about El Pollo Loco. Not only does this location have wonderful and fast service, it’s also 100x better than Taco Bell.

Chicken was hot n fresh when I got home. Order was exactly way ordered, and plenty of salsa/pico/quac sides.

The Pollo Bowl can't be beat; great fresh food, great price. The people working there are always nice, too! El Pollo Loco has something good for all kinds of tastes and even for vegetarians.

I used the app and ordered a 8-piece Family Bundle with 4 bean/rice/cheese burritos, loco salad and 4 churros (a special that was being offered on the app at the time). All of the food was delicious! I appreciated the way the routing was layed out for one-way entry and exit for distancing needs. The young man who gave me the food was very nice and had the bag safely tied so it all arrived home in good order.
I will return to this location and recommend it to others.

Picked up lunch to go last week. Service was friendly and fast and the food was yummy and fresh! 2 piece meal deal was a great value and tasty.
