El Pollo Loco reviews
12Great food, fair price, the chicken is ALWAYS hot and tender. It's is ready quickly. And the salsas are good too.
This place used to be good, but now they have tripled their price of food and their burritos are much smaller than they used to be
The only complaint is.the chicken is overcooked and dry. Otherwise, it's a great place to have a fast meal.
The number 1 complaint I have is the size of the tortillas. They are too small. The chicken is always spot on. The rice was a bit dry but it happens. The service was stellar. The workers are always nice and efficient.
It literally took me 20 minutes to get in and out of the location and then won't even busy
Today I was a cashier who was very rude to me and I no longer wanted to go back.if they are geniuses they are going to work.
Ordered take out via drive through last night via drive through.
SUPER FREAKING GROSS DRY!
Prior to the pandemic and associated challenges, El Pollo Loco was an outstanding choice for lunch or dinner in Lodi.
Recent visits have been disappointing.
In my view, there have been negative trends in their product quality, which impact the perception of overall value.
Service and cleanliness remain above average.
In two recent visits, where I ordered a 3 piece chicken combo, my plate included the smallest legs and thighs I have ever seen. In addition, the thighs included a large percentage of "backbones" and were moderately dry and over cooked. My guess is that the product quality suffers more due to reduced lunchtime demand and difficulties producing hot food within a reasonable amount of time.
El Pollo Loco has always been my families goto for healthy, tasty chicken. But, with Raising Caines a mile west and the experiences mentioned, EPL has become a distant second choice for us. I hope they can find a road back to greatness.
Very expensive for the quality of food you get and you had to wait a while to get your food.
Ordered 2 ea. Chicken tostada salads. They are our favorite menu item. Very tasty and filling.
I ordered the Original Pollo Bowl.the beans made the rice too wet n mushy. Overall it was too salty.
We ordered 2 Chicken avocado burritos. There was no avocado and very salty. As if the salt shaker was poured on. This was on 1/1/2023
