I was in line for 30 minutes on my lunch break and Amanda skip me and serve the next customer then she also gave my order to someone else she was very rude and very disrespectful I will never eat from this place again

I haven't been to an El Pollo Loco for a long while. Since the pandemic happens, they closed the bright and happy looking one on La Brea & Sunset. That brought me to this one. I don't think the sun ever shines through here. The atmosphere is lonely and depressive. I ordered Classic Tostada and 2pcs leg and thigh. The way they package it to go is very clever. It looks very good but the taste is otherwise. The chicken was dry, tough and stringy. I wish it was never there at all. How they make the the commercial so festive is so misleading. The 2pcs of chicken were good as they're always my favorite. The server was great he gave me ample of fresh salsa which made it even better. Btw, we suppose to eat the bowl that the tostada came in with, right?

Good food. I got an unexpected upcharge for all dark meat. I did not see anything about an additional charge for all darkmeet and the person who took my order did not say anything about an additional charge. Kind of sneaky.

Very bad service i came to get a 12 piece meal telling me there's no chicken wooow really why is this restaurant t open if there's no chicken

Alright first of all I received my food cold.

Second of all - and this isn't the first time - I asked for 6 green sauces.
I receive 2. So i'm not sure if they hire illiterate people that can't read an order or count or is this a manager (feb 11, around 8pm shift) thing or a store policy. Not sure why they are so cheap with their sauces the food is otherwise dry as hell without it. Really the green sauce is the only thing keeping this chain brand alive because i'd hardly call it real Mexican food.

You gotta love El Pollo Loco. Chicken cooked over a flame is the best if done right and they know how to do it right. You may have guessed from the name that this is a Mexican inspired restaurant that specializes in chicken dishes. They also have some beef dishes as well but the menu is more chicken centric than anything else. I have never ordered a dish here that I did not like. The chicken avocado burrito is my favorite though. It is large with juicy chunks of chicken and large slices of avocado. Chicken and avocado are a heavenly combination and this is one heavenly burrito. Unfortunately the current pandemic has forced them to close their dining room but you can still go in and order take out. They also offer delivery through the GrubHub app. Since the dining room is closed they have also closed their fresh salsa bar. That is a bit of a disappointment but understandable and their food is still really good with store bought salsa so don't let that deter you.

One of the nicer locations in the area. I ate 2 BRC burritos and drank iced tea late at night - the FOOD POISONING hit me early the next morning.

Just like most other epl locations in so-cal this location was clean, had a friendly staff and quick cooked fresh Mexican food.good place to get a quick bite.this location has sit down and carry out options.no drive through option at this location though.

I really enjoy EPL, which is why I was so disappointed to discover this location was in such poor condition. Not only was there one restroom out of order, but the one still open had no soap and a non-functional sink. They manager confirmed that employees were using the same bathroom so were not washing their hands after using the facilities. It was disgusting. I did not eat there, and neither should you.

This place smells very bad I couldn't enjoy the food last time I was there. To many homeless inside that's way.

Less is more. The soft beef taco is the size of a sparrow, very tasty and very cheap. Perfect for casual and discerning diners of Mexican cuisine.

Best pollo loco I ever been.the food taste better than any other location & the service is great.staff is super friendly.

I stopped here so my friend could use the bathroom and I got a drink. The cashier was so friendly and asked "are you sure you don't want a churro? " so sweetly (and I do love churros) that I got a churro. That churro was great. I ate the churro and drank my drink while I walked the mile and a half home. There cashier was great and I wish I had caught her name.

Food was good. So was the service. Entertainment was even better. Crackhead getting food and acting like the biggest ass, while showing their ass. Bathrooms were clean!
