El Pollo Loco, Modesto CA

I hadn't been to El Pollo in years! We recently visited and were very happy that everything we ordered was hot, excellently flavored, and very well packaged for our half hour trip home! The large portions gave us not only a wonderdul dinner but plenty of leftovers for the next day! Our pet cats and dog also enjoyed special treats! We all give hands and paws up kudos!

For being so very busy; our order was almost perfect. The chicken is grilled so a healthier option than fried. All of our food tasted amazing

Food is great. I love the double chicken tostada salad with added corn. Just the lines have gotten longer lately

Great tasting charbroiled chicken, fast service especially when you go in the drive-through. I really like their healthy choice meals that are now offered.

The last time I visited to El Pollo Loco was abysmal. (See my review El Polo Loco on Countryside Dr Turlock)

Tonight was redemption.

There street tacos were delicious and the service was excellent.

We used a coupon to try their new street tacos plate. Two tacos with rice and beans. We got the Elote Taco and the Avocado taco. They were bomb! The rice and beans were a tasty side dish, after we doctored them with cilantro, lime, and salsa.

Originally the rice was a skimpy amount (See picture) and as I was finishing at the salsa bar the young lady at the counter gave me an additional cup of rice. She identified the short coming and took the initiative to correct it. Great Job!

There were several employees on shift (11) the facilities were as clean as to be expected.

Negative:
There was a dried piece of chicken under out table that appeared to have been there for some time though.

First off food was great as well as service employee aurellio went out of his way to greet me and made me feel welcome all employees treated me awesome I highly recommend this restarant

I loved the food, first time eating there and I was cheap and was dah BOMM, it is so underated the only bad thing is my salad was browning, but I still loved the food.

There drive thru is bad because they don’t listen carefully and they don’t repeat ur order and they don’t give u what u order and they never put napkins always have to park before I leave so I get everything

It was ok we just picked up some pinto beans for a friend in the hosiptal who ask us to get them for them

Really enjoyed Pollo Loco. Many items are quite expensive for a fast food restaurant but using coupons make for bargain prices. The food is a whole level above the fast food catagory Fresh and great taste. Recommended

Excessive NOISE from chef continually chopping chicken into pieces with loud cleaver constantly hitting chopping board. Not a good place for any kind of a discussion or meeting. Noise is very stressful!

El Pollo Loco's Chicken Tostada Salads are always on point! It's priced right for the family on the nights when we're too late to throw something together but don't want to do the typical "fast food" menu. We rarely use the Dine In service but when we do it's always clean and the employees friendly and helpful.

I like El Pollo Loco if I want to have a great chicken and salad after working out, visit with my friends nice people serving you very friendly young kids I love it there! The one in Oakdale Road,

Fresh, plentiful, inexpensive, and delicious. My wife and I had lunch for $17. I had forgotten how very good this place is.

The food is very tasty and fresh. The taco al carbon is my favorite. My only wish is that the portions were a little larger for the price.

I am a little bit obsessed with their delicious fire-grilled chicken- it's on my list of favorite things!

I didn't go to el pollo loco. I went to the MacDonalds near it. But since i got you here that MacDonalds sucked this visit. They no slushys or blended coffees of any kind. And also a roach came real close to getting in to the pay window. And the girl closed the window on my wife as she tried to tell her about it. And the guy at the pick up window shut the window on my wife before she could ask for condiments. I happend to like MacDonalds but its actions like this that give it a bad name and make people stay away.

Great food manager was great on top off employees that's what keeps stuff moving in right direction.

On Veggie diet love the brc. Burrito and side Loco salad my toddler loves their side of beans and the side of corn are awesome.

Went in and order, all quick and goid food. Employees are friendly and a clean place. Have not been here in a long time, ill come back.
