El Pueblo Mexican Food - Carlsbad reviews
15Ordered a steak & egg burrito and a fish taco. Both were exceptional in flavor, portion and quality. Will be returning for more.
Always come here for the fish tacos after school, before hitting the gym. How do they get them so cheap? Im genuinely curious.
One of the best Mexican foods I have ever had. They have great customer service and fast service. I recommend this place if you are visiting or you are craving top quality food.
Best fish tacos on the west coast. When you see the price, you would probably think there not that good. Try it with flour tortillas instead of corn and I promise you this will be the best fish tacos you have ever had. It’s always made fresh every time that I come. The hot sauce is a perfect combination. Not to mention their customer service is always sweet and kind.
Very good food. But the young woman who was at the cash register had a very bad attitude. I asked him if he would give me a little cream and he replied "we don't give anything away here. " They charged me $2.50 for almost no cream.
Best lunch in North County! Fish tacos $1.19 each no limit! Carrots, onions and chilies free! Clean, fast service, great prices! $2.56 for 2 fish tacos fill you up
Since the opening of Pueblo restaurant in Cardiff by the Sea, I have been a regular customer. The food they serve is above average, although not the best. My personal favorite is the fish tacos, but I feel that the burritos are priced higher. I must also appreciate the professional service provided by the personnel as I have never had a bad experience with them. The atmosphere is decent, much like any typical Mexican food joint.
Food is good for a takeout. But they keep raising their prices. No longer a cheap, good mex food place.
We are visiting from out of town. The fish tacos are amazing and they’re only $1.19 each no limit on how many you can buy makes you want to live here will be back anytime we are passing through.
So good! The fish tacos are as good as advertised! You can't beat $1.19 per taco. The service was fast and friendly. They also offer other deals like 2 tacos for $10. My daughter had the chicken flautas, which were light and flaky. Can't wait to go back again.
Nice place. The service was very good, our waiter named Miguel, very good service. The tasteless food is nothing to save for a good opinion. The chef probably never tastes his dishes. We ordered 3 different dishes and none of them were flavorful.
The place is very tasty, my favorite food is the fish tacos and very good service received by the girl Linda and the other employees with whom I have interacted. I go to town every time I go to Carlsbad, delicious
I cannot recommend el pueblo highly enough. Amazingly priced fish tacos that are delicious, and probably the best carne asada ever. Not saying it's better than your favorite place, but I bet it's just as good.
Carne asada burrito done right. Meat was grilled and seasoned, guacamole and pico de Gallo in the right proportion and distribution
How do people afford to eat here? Absolutely ridiculous pricing. They are getting away with highway robbery here. I ordered a california burrito with no pico, i also asked for small side of chips and beans. I ended up somehow spending $30. The embarrassingly small burrito was $13.50 — seriously it didn’t even fill me up. The chips were $6.50… FOR CHIPS. Are you kidding me? Also, about a quarter of the chips were still uncooked and stuck together, and were a oily/greasy mess. They’re just the old corn tortillas they don’t use, and they’re charging nearly $7.00 for just chips? The small beans were $5.50. Beans are like the cheapest food of all time. My whole family and friend group have been going to El Pueblo when the only location was off birmingham. We have all talked about the prices have become insane. I can say with certainty, 100% that we will not be going back again. I literally could have ordered door dash from a restaurant further away and it would have been the same price or cheaper. Hugely disappointed. Horrible.
