El Rico Pan Bakery reviews
8This is the Best bakery in San Jose, CA. I highly recommend it! A little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. The bread is always fresh and they have a large selection to chose from.
This is my favorite spot for pan dulce I've been going here ever since i was a kid. I had to move out of town but when ever I visit sj this is the first place I go.
Went to this place and bought two conchas. Got home and decided to eat them to find out they had a small cockroach in them. Really disgusting and will not be coming back to a place that isn’t cleaned properly. It is utterly surprising that this place has good reviews.
I am addicted to the pinwheel with rasberry and coconut swirl in cake. Every pastries fantastic in everyway have not been let down yet. Except the price fluctuates depending on if I bring along Chavo my Spanish fluent pappi chulo.
Loves this place, delicious Mexican bread, best tamales around very big for the price. Stop by this place, don't think about it just do it, you won't regret it.
DELICIOUS AMAZING MEXICAN BREADS, TORTAS, TAMALES, CAKES, DRINKS, SO MUCH MORE. CHECK IT OUT YOU WILL LOVE
They Bake at Night So their Shelves are Fully Stocked with Hot FRESH Pan when they OPEN (Very Early Mornings) As it should be. Great Pan - Super Friendly Muchachas
All the other Panaderias nearby sell you day-old bread in the morning until their snowflake baker finally finishes baking SEVERAL HOURS after they open.
In A Nutshell:
-El Rico Pan Bakery is an awesome Mexican panaderia (bakery) that sells some huge & delish tamales, amongst other baked delicacies.
-I love to eat tamales during the colder months & needed some last minute for Thanksgiving.
-Luckily they were open.
-Their tamales are HUGE & filled w/ great amount of chicken or pork.
-They also had some queso (cheese) ones, but I didn't try them (yet).
-For $3.20 a pop, they are a tad high, but totally worth the price due to the size of the tamale.
Overall, if you need some good tamales, grab them here!
