El Rincon Criollo reviews
16OMG best Cubano in town. I lived in Miami for 5 years. This is legit and delicious. We Have been coming here for years and it never disappoints.
So disappointing, expensive too.
Thought I would treat myself to a good meal on my day off and chose this place.
(Almost) EVERYTHING had vinegar in it. This is the first time I ever tried rice that had vinegar in it. Btw, the rice was par-boiled. Also a first for me in a cuban restaurant.
The fried pork tasted reheated, nothing about it tasted fresh and the presence of vinegar was strong. The yuca had so much garlic and vinegar that it was over powering, I couldnt eat it. Yuca is also a $9 side dish, yup $9. The tostones where the size of a half dollar coin, only thing on my playe without vinegar and when I mentioned how small they where the server said “thats just how every restaurant serves them now, you should have gotten two but I gave you 4”.
Huh? What?
I could keep this rant going but Im going to be done.
Skip this place…
Awwww man.ohhh do I love eating here.some of the best food in the whole city. By the way what I get is the 1/2 garlic chicken dish. Oh man your in for a treat!
Best cuban sandwiches in LA! Super cute place, both indoor and outdoor area with a large selection.from smoothies to beer and sandwiches to red snapper.must try place!
Rincón Criollo offers Cuban food. I have been going there since the 70s when I lived in that area.now a days when I'm close by.we make stop.
The place is so cute, clean, beautiful, gives you a nostalgic, happy and authentic feel of the good things from Cuba! The food was quickly prepared and delivered, good portion size, tastes good!
If you're looking for a very reasonably priced, authentic Spanish cuisine place in the area, then this is it! Staff is great, food is delicious and very authentic Hispanic cuisine. I had the ropa vieja and tried the arroz con pollo and they were both delicious.
Look the food is good that’s why I keep coming back but the customer service is terrible! Especially the lady at the counter doesn’t even acknowledge your presence ordered food online paid for it went in 39min later and still had to wait an additional 10 not only that they where trying to force me to sign a paper which they never asked for before and when I asked what is this for the lady got offended and said take ur food you don’t have to sign
Five stars is rare from me.el rincon criollo gets the five star honour purely for the excellent cuban-style roast pork entree.it has no right to be as good as it is - it's pork, onions, rice, and plantains, but the pork's flavour is simply ridiculous.the establishment is no-frills, but clean.i haven't eaten in there as i just get take-out (living walking-distance.) you're likely to enjoy the other items on offer - the cubano is quite good.but really, the showpiece is the cuban roast pork.i can't really say enough good things about it.
Ive visited this restaurant a few times. And all times Ive received the same treatment. Ive received the worst customer service from the waitress. She definitely is not LGBTQ+ friendly. She treats my partner and I with attitude, I believe her name is Corina. At least thats the name on the receipt. The food was good, although she over charged us, customer service was awful.
Awesome spot! Really kind service and tasty food. I sat out on the patio. We had the Cuban style roast pork, garlic roasted chicken, fresh coconut water, and an espresso at the end of the meal. Everything was delicious. The seats on the outside patio are very relaxing as well. Will definitely be back!
Pork is always tasty!
Cuban sandwich was good as well. Ham Croquettes needed something more.very plain, no sauce or gravy, cheese maybe?
There was only a 1" X 1" piece of a plantain.when dining on Cuban food.
IT'S ALL ALL ABOUT THE PLANTAINS!
Our favorite Cuban restaurant, we been customers since early 90’s, you must try the chicken garlic fry with vinegar and onions, with fry plantain and black beans, or garlic pork, ropa vieja dish, don’t forget to ask for the mamey shake, everything is delicious, hands down the best
Had the Cuban sandwich for lunch and it was terrific!
This place has been in business for over 5 decades and I know why. The dinner plates are great too.
Garlic chicken is amazing. Habañero hot sauce is excellent. Good food, holds up well in a container if you want takeout.
I've missed this restaurant! I'm so glad it survived Covid shutdown. El Rincon Criollo has some of the best of everything. Plantains. Amazing. Chicken. Amazing. Steak. Amazing. Pork. Amazing. Black beans. Amazing.
