El Super, Inglewood CA

Today supervisor Andrea was absolutely rude. I don't expect much from a supermarket employee, only respect and a little bit of professionalism. But this woman isn't even educated to go out on the street, much less to be on the customer service department. Lettuce had the price tag for 2.99, at the register comes out at 3.99, so I asked them to correct the price. This Andrea says to the cashier, give her the lettuce at 2.99 so she doesn't cry. In front of me, talking like that. I couldn't believe it. Victor Martinez (store director), doesn't care much. Apologizes carelessly and says that Andrea doesn't have to apologize to me. Andrea is laughing and looks defiant and happy about the way she behaves to customers. Stupid people are in charge and we as customers have to cope with that. I don't think I'm going back to this store, I have many other close by so they won't see my money again. They can cry now.

Now El Super is a pretty good grocery store I like the vegetables and the way they package to me and when they have things on sale very reasonable the only thing I wish they had you been copied and a little bit more variety of season but all very nice grocery store

The store is close to where I live, the vegetables are good, but the meats are getting too bad, I bought chicken wings and they came out stinky, and then the pork ribs, I hope they improve the quality of their products since it's the only store that I visit to stock my kitchen and I would not like to catch an infection due to its poor quality

Easiest to get in and out of with everything fresh that you need. There's isn't a large selection of non perishable items, like canned goods, etc but thats what's good about it. You can get all your fresh produce, meat, bread, deli and hot foods easily and quickly. I love shopping here because I get all my produce and meats without having to wait in long lines or big crowds. The cashier's are fast and efficient and you know what you need is there without hassle.

Fresh vegetables, friendly cashiers, the only bad thing is that the butchers are lousy and have a very bad temper. There are almost no workers. Why is it that some butchers want to give you what they want?

The prices for the vegetables are good, but the kitchen needs more love, attention, do not sell tamales without knowing how to make them, the corn ones are not tamales, it is wrapped dough, it would be better to sell nothing with butter and we will know that we pay for wrapped dough and that's it.

Good produce selection and common basic groceries. The meat and panadería looked great but that's about it. The prepared food has gotten pretty good.
28 Apr 23 Their prepared comida is good. I mostly buy produce here but every so often I buy the hot food and it's always been great.

I think they cater more to the Hispanic community. Some products especially in the produce department are a bit over priced. Also the meat department is a bit over priced also. I refuse to buy plantain from this market and beef tripe. It's price is too high.

Today march 20 around 830 pm my husband ask for head cheese, 2 employees refused to give to him, that was late already these isn"t the first time happen
we would like to know what time is the latest we can ask for that?

Deeply racist. I watched the cashier yell and scream at a young black woman because she had her head phones on and did not hear the cashier ask her to give her a bag. I had to intervene, in which the cashier refused to ring me up until a manager came over. This is not the first time I've witnessed racist and or overtly rude behavior to black people in this business, just not at this location. I thought that first time was a fluke, the cashier was having a bad day. I'm starting to think that though El Super is in neighborhoods that are culturally diverse, including blacks that have usually been in those neighborhoods for generations, I'm starting to think this particular business only wants Hispanics to shop. That's racist. This is America, not some third world country. I have spoken to my representative of Inglewood.

Best store with fresh produce and meat products with most affordable prices. I strongly recommend this store to get fresh items in cheapest price. Staffs are so friendly and store is clean

It's already been 2 kisses that I buy pork rinds in the deli restaurant and they are always very rancid, they should pay more attention to health.

The butcher shop is AMAZING! Everything from thinly sliced beef, to shrimp, fish, chicken pork and cultural items like tripe, premade kebobs, meat for fajitas.very good

The chief of tropical stuff. They got all grocery. Fruits, cooked food, Pastries. They are cheaper. Water is cheap here. If you are smart. You can make out African cuisine from their stuff. I cooked cornchaf from beans and corn I bought here.
