El Tarasco Restaurant Mooney, Visalia CA

My fish was good but my husband s fish was tuff. They didn't bring him his beer. Today was an off day. They waitress did not tend to us as she should. Had to get our own straws at the bar. It was not busy. But next I know it will be good.

Pretty good. Got the enchilada plate. Chicken had a familiar taste but good. Been trying to find some good enchiladas and these are second on my list. Their carnitas were pretty good too. Food was super fast. Less than five minutes. Which I thought was odd but whatever. I'd go back! (:

Came and visited on 3/20/2022 and disappointed with the new changes. The restaurant is now charging extra for chips and now you have to be charged for an extra refill of drinks. Absolutely ridiculous. Anything to charge a patron. Next thing you know they will start charging for water. This is complete bull and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Excellent, unassuming Mexican restaurant. Very busy when we arrived which felt like a good sign. Fantastic cheese enchiladas and top notch salsa. Would gladly return.

The food is decent but the potions don't equal to the amount you pay. Besides that the other problem is that getting your order takes about an hour. My wifes burrito didn't come to our table we had to ask 3 different servers and finally got her food. I wish I was joking but this place has gone downhill.better off eating somewhere else and coming here for drinks only.

Fresh made tortillas for the tacos which are always a good big portion with alot of meat. Sopes are one of my favorite to order. Customer service is great.

I've always enjoyed there food however this past Saturday the dinner for 2 was not what we expected dry meat, rice and beans were a serving for 1 not 2 people, the drinks we ordered 12 dollars no alcohol and the MALE waiter as always very rude no personality and act as if we were a bother. Im hoping this doesn't happen again.

Amazing Mexican food and amazing service. Been going to this place for years and it has yet to decline in quality in any way. Have recommended this place to many people who have also had nothing but good things to say after dining in this establishment. It’s very hard to come by quality and service like this. Highly recommend the carnitas as well!

If your think this place is good you have never tasted real Mexican food This place has good customer service really really really really really bad food really really really really high prices I feel a little bit robbed never will come again I do not recommend this place please stay away if you have poor taste then go right ahead buddies

Great restaurant! Nice bar area and great food! Salsa is really good and spicy, the way I like it! If you don't like a loud atmosphere don't sit meet too bar area. Have yhem seat you in the back. Parking is scarce during dinner hours. I had the chicken enchiladas which were on point and made fresh. Michaladas are tasty! T. V's in bar area perfect for watching sports! FULL BAR.

Great nachos staff are good and it's a nice place to go in town with friends. Steak Ranchero is bomb ask for more sauce!

Very disappointed and will never go back to the Visalia Mooney Blvd location. My food was cold and raw and it took over an hour for my pick up order when they told me 25 mins, I have never been to a restaurant and they took 1 hour after telling me 25 mins then the food was cold and raw

Have ordered to go from here many times as well as dined in and the food and margaritas have always been great! Grilled chicken taco salad is my favorite, husband likes the asada but honestly we have never had anything that wasn’t delicious! We will be back again

Nice place to come on a weekday and enjoy a nice meal with that special someone. Staff was on point very attentive. Definitely will be coming back soon enjoyed the atmosphere.

I will never go to this restaurant ever again. As my family and I were seated, we didn't receive any service. We waited for over 30 minutes and couldn't even place a drink order. As other parties of Hispanic decent came in after us and were being served, we decided to leave. If I could give less than one star I would.

I had the chili relleno plate. I didn't care for the green sauce that they used. We had to call the other waitress for a refill.
