Perfect place for afternoon walks. Basketball courts, tennis courts, k8d's playgrounds.
Small dog and large dog fenced areas. Plenty of parking.
Be nice pick up after your dogs and enjoy gorgeous sunsets everyday.

Good Park overall the courts are well-kept is kind of busy during the day but there is plenty of space

It's a large nice family park and rec center. Quiet peaceful and breezy. Although I have seen a few drug deals go down in the parking lot which is not very good

There were lots of basketball players and friendly people although the basketball courts are very old

Great for kids party, been there has play ground and bathrooms. There is a football field right across the entry drive for working out etc.

Perfect place to throw little family functions or take your kid out or just have a relaxing moment at the park by yourself if your in the area or live around

There are four courts and some of them are usually occupied with skilled players. There is also a tennis backboard for players to practice their technique. The basketball court seems to be always occupied with players in a game. Although, the parking lot for the park is kind of hidden around houses and the bathrooms are not cleaned regularly.

I love this park. Mostly because it's the exchange spot for me to pick up my Daughters. Although my xwife didn't bring them today.

I just started going to the El Toyon Recreational Center Friday nights for the adults soccer league they have going on. Always clean and theres no homeless or weird people hanging around on or around the field.

I play tennis 20 years ago in the Toyon park and I play tennis tonight but now is so beautiful the light so bright tennis court excellent condition nice people I really appreciate what you did to that Park make me feel safety good job to everybody who work to make possible to looks better thank you and I wish you the best for everybody Merry Christmas

There's a lot of cracks and holes on basketball court, and the rims have no nets, the worst basketball court in National City, Ca. USA.

Quiet place to relax with lots of individual toilets. Basketball court and a spots field with tennis court.

It's appearance has changed for the better over the years. I'll give it about 2.5 to 3 stars. I'm still a little effy because of the homeless taking sink baths in the water fountain. The gates close at a certain time now protecting the? Parking lots I'm assuming because you can still park on the street and gain access to the park. No soap or water in bathrooms to wash hands so people used the water fountains. The basketball courts, playgrounds and tennis courts were presentable to use. Trash cans are really spaced out from picnic tables. I saw the park attendant several times drive around throughout the day.

I appreciate the fact there's a space for dog's to run and play. But my dog's like grass, not gravel. Not only is it more gentle on their paws but my female dog won't go potty in gravel. There was trash on the ground and lots of dog poop where people didn't clean up after their pet. No poop bags or trash cans inside the dog run area. We found them outside the fence in between the big & little dog area's on our way out but it wasn't obvious they were provided until we were leaving. I don't expect perfection but a few small improvements would help.
My dog's couldn't wait to leave.

AltaOne Park I've been coming here since I was 17 it's a great place to come and play basketball play soccer with your kids and has been renewed and they have new lights after 20 years it's light up at night and it's a great place to come and enjoy with your family come in barbecue and have some good time they got plenty of bathrooms and it looks like they are renovating it more and more every time I come

Am partial to this park. Very well planned and landscaped. I am homeless. I live in this park. There should be more resources addressing lack of shelter in this area. We are one of maybe 5 or more families unable to find affordable housing who have been living in this park for over a year and a half and not one of us have received any assistance or help whatsoever. We are not thugs or drug/alcohol abusers, just regular families with no or little support from anyone and unable to make ends meet due to no affordable housing or resources out there.

A great place for kids! And other activities I've have seen this place change for the better! Proud of national city! For their progress and effort!

Best park around with the most street area for my kids to play safe. Only problem is the homeless like to stick around

I love this park is so big i was amaze in how big it was my dogs had a blast lol it has its own dog are one for big dogs and the oyher for small dogs omg they have everything in this park basketball, tennis, America football field its simply amazing there alot of benches and tables for fiestas and catne asada!
