Elena's French Crepes Cafe & Peet's Coffee reviews
14Tried due to positive reviews. I found the owners to be nice, the crêpes were OK in my opinion, if you’ve had really good crêpes, you know it. To me, quite expensive for what you get.
The owners are the sweetest and the crepes were delicious we split a ham and cheese and peach crepe. I gobbled up too fast for photos. I'll take pictures next time. I want to try them all. The vanilla latte was delicious also
My husband and I have been coming to Elena’s since they opened and never have we had a bad experience with them.
The crepes are the real deal, you would be hard-pressed to find better. I highly recommend you visit
Such a cute little place for breakfast. We had scrambled eggs and a crepe with Nutella and nuts. It was just perfect, the crepe was so delicious. Highly recommend
Sweetest owner and yummiest crepes! The kind of place you come back to when you are in town. Nothing but good things to say!
We had the lemon curd and the apple cinnamon crepes. These were both amazing! Genuine French crepes with lots of flavor. They were light and fluffy and delicious
My wife works with mentally handicapped individuals.
During the farmers market this Thursday she took one of her students into this shop for a break from the noise and commotion outside. You see, with some neurodivergent individuals, loud and fast paced environments are detrimental to their well-being.
Shortly after they took a seat Elena approached her and told her she needed to leave and that “He (the student) was not welcome here”
My wife immediately apologized and said she would make a purchase from the establishment so they could stay.
Elena’s response was that my wife could buy food but still would need to leave.
My wife collected the young man and began to leave the store. Elena seemed displeased by the speed at which they were leaving and stood by the door, arms folded across her chest, to watch them leave.
The young people that my wife works with are amazing and loving individuals and to think that someone could so willingly despise their existence is sickening.
Elena, this store, and any future endeavors she may have will never be supported or patronized by me and mine.
Cute little place for casual eating. Purely crepe place with both sweet and savory. Seating outside you face the beautiful building of Oceanside public library and the the coastal highway. I would definitely revisit.
Elena was very friendly. I ordered a
strawberry smoothie and an Americano they were both very good.
Latte was okay but the woman who works at the counter is not very friendly but have yet to meet a French person who is friendly.
Cafe has no seating and the menu is limited with little to offer. There's never any customers when walking by (gee, I wonder why Sarcasm/ON) and surprised such an unwelcoming place stays in business.
The owner was sweet and customer friendly, loved the strawberry, banana and Nutella crepe. Def visit again
My wife and son like the crepes, but we won't go back. We were sitting at one of tables outside while my son was eating his crepe, and my wife, daughters, and I were eating the ice cream we bought next door when the lady from the crepe shop came out and said, "You see this! " Referring to the sign that says no outside food, ice cream, or drink.now I could see if we hadn't bought a crepe or there were other customers looking for a spot to sit, but there weren't and we had bought a crepe which was the sole reason for our trip there initially.
I tend to find one thing on a menu and order that nonstop. For this place, it is the fudge and whip cream crepe. So good!
