The doctors here are some of the best at pain management. I never had a bad experience in the 3 yrs.they’ve been treating me. The staff are always nice and very efficient at referrals, scheduling needs and all the management of the office.
I’ve been through knee replacement surgery, recently hip replacement surgery, back injections (RFA Treatment). Also I’ve rotator cuff syndrome in both shoulders that may need replacement in the near future, all attributed to excessive arthritis. I’ve been seeing pain management offices since 2008, So I can say without a doubt this is the the best pain management office I’ve been with. Thanks goes out to Dr. Cheng and all his staff.

I’ve been a patient a patient of Dr Chang‘s, and Elizabeth‘s for at least three years. They are kind, encouraging and sweet they take the personal time to hero what your issues are and relate to addresses issues I live in big bear and I still take the 2 Hour Dr.to come down to Santa Ana, I wouldn’t have it any other way

I had a terrible accident years ago that left me with chronic back pain, among other things. My back surgeon recommended Dr. Cheng at Elite Pain Management and it was the best thing that could have happened to me.

First, everyone in that office is wonderful. They truly care about my injury, about my life and they do everything they can to make sure I can live as normal and pain-free a life as possible.
Also, I have procedures on my back a couple of times a year. I just had one 6 days ago and I am already so much better. These procedures are not easy to say the least. Due to a brain injury that I sustained during the same accident that damaged my back, I am practically immune to sedation. Only general anesthesia works on me. Which means that during these procedures, I am fully awake and aware. The doctors here know this and they remember. Each time I have to have this done, they do everything in their power to make sure I am comfortable. They'll have conversations with me about my family, movies, things I've bought on Amazon. Whatever it takes to distract me. They are fast and incredibly efficient. And most importantly they are incredibly kind. I can't recommend them enough or be more grateful for all they do.

I really love the doctors both locations and the doctors know what they are doing and staff is super nice and sweet

Dr Cheng and his staff are awesome, very caring, genuine, helpful. I’m happy to be there patient! If you haven’t tried Dr Cheng, you’re missing out on a happy healthy life.

Everyone here at Elite Pain Management is superior to any other pain specialist I have seen. Dr Cheng is especially caring and does a thorough job of getting you through your treatment. Good communication and very timely visits (very little wait time, if any at all) are just a few more reasons they are 5 Star.

I’ve been going to elite pain management for years now. What I really like about them is that they listen to you, they have a relationship with you. I cannot say enough positive things about this organization. I highly recommend them. Call them, you won’t be sorry.

I appreciate this office staff and everything they do. They help me out all the time- from authorization to getting me in and out when needed. I wish more doctors' offices were more like this office. Dr. Cheng, Anissa, and all the P. A. 's are great here. I have no complaints.

Dr Cheng cares about his patients! I’ve been under his care for pain management for 9 years. Procedure days are well organized! And Kudos to Linda, the office manager who recently helped with issues that arose from an insurance change in January. I highly recommend Dr Cheng and Elite Pain Management.

I have been a patient of Dr Marc Chengs for over 5 years. I love him as a doctor, but today I lost respect for the office manager. She humiliated me and would not listen to what I had to say. She basically called me a liar and would not look at the proof I had of a payment because it was on my phone. So she charged me again. I was told if I couldn’t or wouldn’t pay, I had to reschedule. When it was her staff that ran my credit card wrong for a copay on the last visit. Twice. I had forgotten my wallet today, I had my baby with me and had to call my husband who was at work and get our FSA credit card number so that she could again process it wrong. Just so I could be seen. She was extremely dismissive, disrespectful and rude. I have NEVER in the years I have been coming not paid my copay and she tried to tell me I told her the same story last time. No, her staff charged my card wrong. Came back into the exam room and asked me for my card again only to charge it for the wrong amount again. And no receipt was provided because they text you your receipts now. The staff member apologized and apologized to me and I told her it was no big deal, but then to be treated how I was treated today… maybe I should have made a bigger deal.
Also I was told my insurance would not cover an office visit at the same time as trigger point injections.so today I decided to call my insurance company to verify this (after 2 years of paying double copays, which I should have known better… but I thought maybe something in medical billing and coding had changed since I had done it) and I was told that the did a test claim and my insurance does allow this and the claim went through perfectly fine. So they are just trying to get more money out of their patients. I plan to talk to Dr Cheng about this at my next visit and probably leave the practice. I do not deserve to be treated this way and I will be launching any complaints I can to insure other patients aren’t treated this way. I was seen today after the embarrassment and shock wore off I realized just how badly I was treated. I was to embarrassed to say anything to Dr Cheng when I was in front of him. And my problem was with her, not Dr Cheng. I have seen her treat her employees very poorly and now I have first hand experience with her treating patients just as bad. No wonder there is a huge turnover of staff there in the last 2 years. I could not work for someone like her.
I hope that something is done about her behavior. No one deserves to be treated how I was treated today. And hopefully she learns how to post payments correctly and bill claims with the proper modifiers or yes the insurance companies won’t pay you.

I'm VERY picky with my health care providers! When I first came to EPM in 2018 I saw how they thoroughly went thorough my medical history and worked in accordance. They are VERY organized and on top of their game! Everyone in the office is VERY caring and knowledgeable. They are light handed in their procedures and are caring in their follow-up and follow through with everything! I'll make the drive from where I live for QUALITY HEALTH CARE, and this team of Dr's and Staff is the Definition of that!

Just wanted to update my review, it's now '23 and I STILL go to EPM, and Grateful for them Everyday!
