Elk Grove Aquatics Center

Came here for a swim meet, by far the best facilities I've seen. I've worked construction 20 plus years. The company that built and the people who designed this place did an excellent job. The accessibility to the deck, seating and spaciousness is phenomenal although there is wear and Tear asteticaly it's well taken care of and we'll managed. Great job

The facilities are above average for Sacramento. That being said this is a no fun zone. There's two diving boards that have the potential for being fun but the rules don't allow for any sort of twist, flips, rear facing take offs. I do understand that these rules are not only enforced at this facility but all of Sacramento's public swimming pools.
There's a reason why our youth would rather be doing other stuff that far less productive than doing laps or diving off the spring board.
One more annoyance about this facility is paying a premium to use the 50 meter pool. Not only is it ridiculous to charge extra but it's a rip off when there's only 25 meter lengths are available.
Dear city of Sacramento there's great potential for our youth to get involved in activities that facilities like North Natomas Aquatic Center can provide let's not build a wall of red tape and unmotivational rules. Let our kids get hooked on water sports.
Additional rant; building facilities like this in more public transportation dependable areas might bring access to more people who can't rely on a motor vehicle to get around.

This is a peculiar place for charging. You can hook your car up and then put your credit card there and it looks like it's charging and the minutes count up but it's not charging.

I was teaching my kids some swimming techniques and one of the main lifeguards on duty said I couldn’t teach them anything. Mind you both my kids can swim underwater and hold their breath.

Water is clean.

Not much areas to sit. Bring something to lay down on and some shade.

Food is EXPENSIVE for basic hot dogs and pizzas

Beautiful place to come and take a swim or just to sit in the shade and grab a quick bite at the concession stand!

Water is always cool and clean. However a little strict on rules, they said kids arent allowed to be held.

My grandkids love this place very much.
Hope they have more shades for parents who are not swimming but watch the kids.

I really enjoyed bringing my family to this place I plan on going the hole summer good food and good prices every one was nice very clean pools and restrooms.

The only thing was my husband didn't have his cell phone to get a ticket, they wouldn't accept cash. Not everyone has a cell phone.

I think the newish Aquatic Center is beautiful! I like that there are different pools and arrangements based on different uses. I have fully enjoyed the water fitness classes that I have taken. The instructors were great! One minor issue is the difficulty hearing the instructors at times. I have also always received amazing customer service both in person and on the phone.

Both SCY (25 yards) and LCM (50 meters) pool. 2 water slides. Very nice facility, big enough to host a swim championship and good spectators seating.
