Elk Grove Tire Pros

Went for tire rotation after speaking with the service person the day before, person in the front was rude, unprofessional and quoted an inflated price, he also was unable to rotate the tire stating that I have to get tires from them, only offered to do oil change! Went to jiffy lube who were able to do both. Highly unrecommended.

A couple of days ago I went to this shop because my tire pressure light came on my car and since I don't own a top of the line luxury car I didn't know which tire had the problem, I also didn't have a tire pressure gauge with me and I had just gotten off work so I was in urgent need of assistance. I went into the shop and shared this information with 1 of your employees even stating that 1 of my tires felt like it was low on air and the car didn't feel safe to drive. The employee informed me it is normal for all cars to lose air pressure every couple of months and it seemed like he just wanted to lecture me and not work on my car since it was around 4: 30pm and more than likely this individual just wanted to go home. All I did was nod my head in disappointment and said "I'm not that stupid I know I have a nail in my car" I started to walk away and the rude employee clearly said well you are stupid you don't even know which tire has a problem. Since I had no time to waste given my situation I just kept walking rather than escalating the situation with a true professional and before I left I clearly saw this employee walking towards his peers to talk down on me to his co-workers. I drove another 10 miles to another tire shop that treated me with respect from the minute I arrived there and to no surprise they found a nail in 1 of my tires. I don't have the time or patience to deal with nonsense like this. After this experience I choose to take my business to other reputable shops were they treat clients with respect and don't force them to risk their lives on the road since the workers think it's better to lecture clients rather than help on an emergency.

Best place for tires and service in Elk Grove. Seriously, I won't take my kids' car anywhere else. Truly great staff!

Brought my car in to have the tires looked at. The day after I noticed the front bumper all tore up I didn’t think I hit anything but I assumed it was my fault when I got down to look at it, it had grease on and under it and the skid plate was cracked. Went back to show them a guy said they didn’t do it because they don’t have grease in his shop. No grease in an auto shop? Asked to talk to owner refused to give me his number pretty shady if you ask me don’t go here if u wanna keep your car nice. In response to the owner your cameras showed the car having no damage before entering your shop. When it comes out it appeared to have damage on the bumper. I told your employee that he said it was the “glare from the sun”Really? The glare. You also stated that your jacks were not by the damaged spot on my car. Your ramps are in the exact spot of the damage! I asked them to re rack the car so we could see if the damaged lined up they refused. You sir are not telling the truth every time a car has damage from your shop you do not accept responsibility. Like I said shady business even shadier owner.

The best service anyone can ask for and was willing to stay open late after hours to still help me out

I don't usually leave negative reviews but I had a strange experience there today. I knew my husband had a negative experience years ago with Elk Grove Tire Pros, but my usual oil change spot closed and I thought I'd give them another shot. They were apparently not of the same mind, however, since it turns out I have been banned for life because my husband left them a negative review years ago. This felt super petty to me, especially as the mistake they made at that time cost him $250 in repairs at another shop, and it's not as if I cosigned the review. I can't speak to the quality of their work, it sounds like most people have good experiences here so that's great - love to see a small business succeed. I couldn't go all in on one star because the employees were kind despite the fact that they refused to work on my car.

Edited to add in response to owner: I did speak to my husband (and read the review, and it was not that awful?) and he told me what happened and why he left the review. I made no claim that I felt he shouldn't have left it since I didn't really know what happened. As a reminder, this happened several years ago, and furthermore, I was not involved. I only knew he had a bad experience. No need to insinuate I'm a liar. Unkind and unprofessional. My experience is no less valid because you dislike that I shared it. Any audio you may have would reveal that you have in fact adjusted details of our conversation to your liking. None of this, of course, addresses the fact that I came in looking for service, and you refused me on the basis of a review that my husband left four years ago, which is the salient point of my review. I wish you well but I also wish I had a better experience.

These guys are so helpful and friendly. They take care of all of our cars, trucks and trailers. Our kids are now taking their cars in as well.

I came in to get 2 tires on my kids car. They were very nice and got them on in a timely manner.

I took my 2001 S-10 in for front alignment, got a call saying they cannot do it due to my upper control arm bushings being bad. Instead of just doing the front alignment to have it happen again I thought that was very honest of them not charging me. I replaced the upper control arms myself took it back in for front alignment. When I picked my truck up, it was still pulling to the right, so I took it back in to see what may be the problem. They explained to me the specs and everything seemed good, they gave me some advice about maybe being my tires so I switched my tires around and the truck drives perfect. Came here after some bad experiences with PepBoys and needed my alignment fixed. They had me in and out in less than an hour with a printout showing me what all of my camber, caster, toe, etc.was set to and that it was within tolerance. They were very professional and I will definitely be coming here from now on.

Went in to have a rough rubbing noise checked out here. I assumed it was the brakes/bearings, but they mentioned it was the tires that were causing the sound. After they changed the tires for $700+. The sound was still there. I went back to them immediately and they went on a test drive with me and still heard it too. They said they couldn't do anything about it and I needed new tires anyways. Not possible. I just got my tires from costco less than 2 years ago.and drove less than 25k miles.

So in the end I paid $700+ for tires that didn't fix the issue. Wouldn't recommend this place. Went to another mechanic that properly diagnosed the issue (bearings.) and got the problem solved.

A lil pricey but this is my go to spot. They always treat me kindly and I don't ever feel like they're getting over on me.
The guys are very nice.
