Emerald Bay is breathtakingly beautiful. Every time we come back, it brings back so many memories of past vacations to Lake Tahoe. We can't get enough! We adore the story about the tea house. Lake Tahoe, you awe me!

Was there in April 2019. Still some snow, very cold, and some places are slippery or muddy due to snow melting. Watch your step and also be very careful driving up here. Their are MANY people walking on the sideof the road taking pictures. So going a slow speed is recommended.

Nice step hike takes awhile to get down to water and had to walk through campsite roads to get to trail.

Best beach in Tahoe. Nice facilities. Great beach. Never crowded, probably because they charge. I've been coming here forever and never get tired of it.

It's really easy to get your boat in and out of here. The dog is falling apart a little bit but I'm betting they will have it fixed soon. There is plenty of space to anchor just off the shore. It's only about 30 feet deep so it's easy and you can see to the bottom it's so clear. Would go back anytime

This place is so beautiful. The castle was a great view to see everything. Very picturesque. I loved it. Definitely go kayaking but go very early cause you will wait about an hour.

If you want a scenic view for pictures. The top of this area is a good spot. It is also a great place to take a long walk down to the beach.

Crowded but beautiful, need money to tour Vikingsholm. Go early before 9AM or park and walk from highway.

Phenomenal view of the lake. Great place for family pictures. The drive was pleasant and smooth. Go early to find parking as it is limited.

Great place to come and eat and walk around. We caught a sunset cruise to Emerald Bay from the boat dock and had a blast. We even saw a bear on the beach on the ways back.

We took a lake cruise on the Safari Rose and really enjoyed the ride. We met a couple who was celebrating their 25th anniversary and the captain brought the yatch close enough for them to touch the Lover's rock to commemorate their anniversary. The bay is beautiful and worth the ride to see it.

Loved the trek to reach this location. Too steep and you need to be in good shape otherwise it will take more time to finish the trail. Also carry lots of water with you. If you can carry portable easy to carry tent take it with you. There is enough space to layout and relax while enjoying the view. May also carry some snacks as you wont be climbing back up soon. Spends atleast few hours once you reach down. I suggest trekking poles will support your walk.overall wonderfull experience.i would say all day trip.

What a Gorgeous area of Lake Tahoe to see. It is about 1 mile of a easy hike down to the mansion. Take a bottle of water with you. The parking lot cost $10.00 for all day.

A wonderful place to go. Recommend first to visit Vista Point then Eagle Falls. Recommended beach is Lester Beach.
