Emerald Bay State Park reviews
12The weather here in April is perfect once you start hiking. The water runs so strong and makes for some stunning views. Pretty difficult to find parking but not impossible!
This is one of those places that should be seen any time that you are in the Tahoe area. The best time to visit is always early in the morning to avoid the crowds.
Most iconic piece in all of Lake Tahoe. It's a must see. You'll be able to walk down to the lake in the summer, spring and fall, but difficult in the winter.
A beautiful place and location. The best location of Lake Tahoe itself is here, so a visit is a must.
Breathtaking views at Eagle Falls. The short stretch of road from the entrance of the park towards South Lake Tahoe, when you are driving on a sort of ridge between the two lakes is as good as it's ever going to get.
There is a parking lot here which is preferable to parking along the side of the narrow, cliffside road. There is a vantage point here beside a waterfall that has a good view of the lake’s bay.
Very beautiful hikes of varying difficulty around Emerald Bay. Incredible views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Easy to find parking as well on the side of the road.
Gorgeous. Do not miss taking your time around the lake to explore all the different places. No where like this, accessible, out there.
Very beautiful but parking is quite a challenge. They had a lot of areas closed while we were there which made it more difficult.
Emerald Bay is a standout visit for anyone who visits Lake Tahoe. Eagle falls especially in spring. Castle is worth hiking down too. Intetestong.
I've been going to this spot ever since I was a little boy and that is quite a few years it never gets old don't forget to take pictures
