Emergency Room Kaiser Permanente Manteca Medical Center

I have always been happy with my experiences with Kaiser in other locations until coming to the Manteca Emergency Room! This place is inefficient and we are on 4 hours and still waiting outside in the COLD! Shame on you Kaiser for not having a proper sized waiting room for sick and injured patients. There are sick babies out here in the freezing cold with a cheap white awning and cold metal benches. For how much Kaiser insurance costs there is no excuse that they can afford to build more parking at locations, but not keep patients inside, safe and warm at least while waiting 4 hours plus to get thru their inefficient processes.

Much better treatment, the team was more attentive, aggressive, professional and caring. Up to the point and hit the target! Commendable!

On February 13,2023 my husband had a ruptured aneurysm with brain bleeding and this medical facility left him in the hallway suffering for hours, and took hours to get blood tests and CT Scan and more hours trying to find a transport for brain surgery. After 10 hours they finally found a transport. They could have flown him up to Sacramento but chose to wait. I do not recommend this Kaiser facility for any serious emergency. Only go here for very simple emergencies.

Worst place ever. I came in for pelvic pain they did a pelvic exam gave me a shot on my arm mind you I was bleeding non stop and a male nurse came into the room after the exam and told me I needed to get out and wait in the waiting room. I couldn’t walk I was bleeding I was in a lot of ovarian pain. They didn’t care. They cared more about beds being available. I get to the waiting room it only fits about 8 people. All seats were taken. I laid down outside on a bench for 3 hours. No one came to check on me when they came to get me for an ultra sound whoever that nurse was didn’t not care for even helping me get up from laying on bench. Inhuman nurses. I can’t blame the doctor because it was out of her hands but the rest need to do better. I ended up filling a claim because if no one complains hospitals get away with things that they shouldn’t.

They are responsive and very much on their feet. It's a first come first serve basis. And it also depends on your needs as well.

I came here for an ear infection twice and the physican did not but just look at my ear and sent me home. Then I had to wait an entire week to see a specialist while I was in extreme pain.

Worst service that can be provided to any patient, After waiting for hours my wife lost her pregnancy and all what they told her there is nothing to be done. No single explanation of what happened or any service of any sort all what they did is send us a $500 bill for doing nothing.

My mom suffered a dvt & the doctor's took extreme good care of her. All of the staff was friendly & efficient-> considering how extremely busy they were. Big props to Dr. Martino & Dr. Murphey.
I can't thank you enough!

Rude as could be. Did not help whatsoever and were very condesending. Were helping people who came after first then just left patients sitting with no instructions or intent to help. Would never entrust my life or even a strangers life to this joke of a place.

Waste of time, you better choose another place if your time is important. They took 5-6 hour just to review the report.

Kaiser Manteca’s ER is a joke. My baby scratched his eyeball and the advice nurse and doctor told us to bring him into the ER. We waited for 2 hours OUTSIDE in the heat, smoke, and ash while a nurse poked at a dying mouse just a few feet away from us. Half the time I was stuck in the direct sun because there was no where else to sit. I asked the nurse if there were other options because I was concerned about my 9 week old baby in the heat and smoke, she told me I could sit with the sick people, or sit in the heat and smoke, those are my only options. Absolutely disgusting. Covid has been here for a year and a half and this is still the best they can come up with?

No separation between COVID patients and other emergencies, all patients have to go through a highly questionable hygienic check in, we all have to stand under the same tent that have 4 light fixture and all mosquitos and flies are around you easily transferring COVID or any other diseases between patients waiting for some one to check them in.

Rats are around you flies mixing up patients covid and other emergencies, simply this does not need good management this need common sense.

Finally after 2 hours in this misery doctor simply did not care on my health after continuous bleeding for 4 days, instead of ordering the right lab work for me or check on how weak i am getting all what she cared about if no pain go home.

I have no other words to explain how bad i feel and how bad my health is getting and not getting the proper care, have to wait for a week to get a doctor appointment and just by a VIDEO CALL because Kaiser doctors do not want to be seen, and when I tell my doctor my condition she tells me to go to ER, and when i went to ER they pushed me back to my virtual doctor.

This jokes needs to end now, if Kaiser is not willing to provide the proper health care and worried from covid just simply shut it down but with those actions you are not treating covid and you are not treating other patients but instead you are putting them through what could be worse for both.

Very unprofessional and rude RN and ER Dr. I received no calls while my father was in the ER with a catheter folley that was stuck inside him and wouldn't come out/bleeding. After calling I got disconnected, nobody called back. I called again and got a rude English-challenged Filipina RN who told me daddy is going to get sick in the ER/lots of sick people and he has to come home now (without them changing the catheter) her phone also had issues and she said I was unresponsive but it wasn't me/my phone.ridiculous. I feel like healthcare is going down hill and on par with 3rd world countries.get em in get em out asap/save money is all they care about.not the actual health of the patient.

I went to the ER not being able to breathe, Dr. Potter and her team are absolutely amazing they saved my life. Everyone was super professional and efficient, I had to go to ICU for a few days and I received exceptional care from the ER till I was discharged. THANK YOU EVERYONE at Manteca Kaiser.

I went there for a head injury which required staples. The staff was very rude and uncaring. They put the staples in with no lidocaine or and kind of pain medication. It was very painful. I had to tell the doctor to stop because I couldn’t take the pain anymore. They then ask if I wanted something for pain and I said yes with tears in my eyes. The nurse brought me 2 Tylenol then asked me my pain level 2 min later. Like swallowing 2 Tylenol is going to work in 2 min. Please don’t go there you will get better help somewhere else.

Went into the emergency room. After having chest pains for 2 days. I take blood pressure medication that the doctor changed last month by cutting the medication in half for no reason. Went into the emergency room because my blood pressure was 241 over 114. The emergency room doctor told me that was normal. And asked me what I would like her to do for me. I'm not a doctor but that ain't normal blood pressure and I shouldn't have to tell her what to do for me. Very disrespectful. This was at 2: 00 a.m. On Saturday evening don't go here if you need help

The radiology room 130 needs immediate attention. The wait time is ridiculous, even if you arrive ahead of your appointment time. They are either short staffed or taking unnecessary breaks. Horrible!

Everyone was awesome. I was left alone a lot until they knew I was negative for Covid-19. But after the negative result they were super wonderful. Thank you.
