Kaiser Oakland ER in a nutshell:
*patient goes in for appendicitis*
*waits 8 hours to be seen*
*gets dehydrated while waiting*
*finally gets to see a doctor*
"Hi doc, I have a bad pain here. "
"Okay let's get some labs. "
*waits 1 hour for results*
"Well it looks like you are dehydrated which explains a cramp, just try to drink more water each day! Hope you feel better! "
*gets sent home and later dies of a burst appendix*

This place is so understaffed! And what little staff they have wish they were anywhere but at work! I refuse to let the medical system in California kill me!

Called and they said I have to be a member to use any specialty services in the er. What a joke
