Emergency Room Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Medical Center and Medical Offices reviews
4After waiting in the waiting room with an ear infection and critical knee and hip pain for 3 hours, Dr. Cheryl Lynne McBride had the nurses put me in the hallway. I couldn’t even get treatment in a proper room. People behind me were able to get into a room. She did Malpractice. Dr. Cheryl told me that I didn’t have an ear infection. Dr. Cheryl insisted that I have a nasal infection, she didn’t check my nose at all. However, I was seen at a different ER last night and the doctor there discovered that I have a double ear infection now and I have to be on antibiotics for a whole week now. That visit with Dr. Cheryl waisted my gas and it was so bad that I don’t want my medical to pay them. If I can give negative 5 stars they absolutely deserve it. I can’t wait until I can report them.
The nurses, with 1 exception, were great. Very high caliber.
But Dr Hua was awful.rude and dismissive and nasty, prior to my discharge.
It was shocking and very stressful and I don't want any other patient to have to go through that, so I will report her
Sent me a bill for $1300 AFTER insurance, for ONE visit where I was prescribed the wrong antibiotic and almost had serious health complications as a result. I'm so glad I went to get a second opinion, but I'm very upset to be charged this much for a single prescription that was the wrong one at that.
Let me just say first that I have had great experiences at this emergency before but yesterday was the worst emergency experience I have had. I have been sick for weeks with a chronic condition talking with doctors who are great and they told me of it got bad to go to emergency as I am waiting on tests. I drive 30 min to emergency as I was having chest pain and back pain and trouble breathing. At first they took me in right away to triage to an ekg. Everything was good. I assumed I would be taken care of after that. The doctor assigned to me came in asked me two questions. What is wrong and do you smoke. I said I’m in pain and having trouble breathing and my doctor asked me to come in to be examined. And yes I smoke. He took out his stethoscope listened front and back and said you are wheezing u have COPD. I have been in and out of doctors for years no sign of COPD. I’m 45. They then took blood one X-ray and gave me prednisone tums and Pepcid. I waited 3 hours in waiting room and he tells me I’m fine and I have COPD. Talk with my doctor and discharged me. I said did u even read my history he said well u can wait 4-5 hours for ct scan if u want but u can wait in the waiting room. Worst experience of my life. I have a chronic condition and he didn’t even address it. Worse doctor ever and the nurse was rude when I asked for water.
