Emmanuel Appliances, Montclair CA

What can I say about this place? They are the most unprofessional business I have had to deal with in a long time. They have scheduled times to come fix my appliances and then have not shown up. They did not call to let me know they weren't coming and left a window of 9 to 3. This please was recommended by Cagles which was the most amazing company but retired. I plan to never use them again and would rather pay more for a company that shows up. So so disappointed!

Cagels closed so Emmanuel Appliances now carries parts for those of us who repair our own stuff.

Nice people who are knowledgeable and have NEW parts for your appliance as well as appliances.

Just a few feet away is a shop that sells used appliances and Goggle Maps seems to point to that shop instead. Drive a little further in the parking lot for Emmanuel Appliances. Some of the pictures seem to be from that shop instead of Emmanuel Appliances.

You will notice one of Cagels tools in the shop.

We used them to service a LG washer that was not spinning and showing a code. When the service technician came out the only thing he considered was the code it was displaying. He spent maybe 5 minutes and said he wasn't worth fixing and needed to be replaced. The machine wasn't more than 5 to6 years old and I questioned his answer to repairing the machine. I paid the 75.00 service call and decided to check the code online. Well it happened to be a bolt that had come off the drum gear. Once that was put back on it worked fine. (I guess we should have tried fixing it ourselves first)
I called Emmanuel repair and asked that the owner call me back and unfortunately that never happen.
I would not recommend this company.

I have used this family run business for years and recently received good service on our wash but Ruben and our dryer not so much, shortly after Ruben service our roller all 4 we heard the loud banging again. Called Emanuel many times until Ruben picked up and said he would be out. No show. Many calls later and still nothing. 0 stars for Ruben but Gabe or the other family member with glasses 5 stars. Good luck

I would definitely recommend Cagels these people do not give any kind of tips or trouble shooting over the phone for customers that want to try to fix it themselves. They want you to pay them to tell you what's wrong.

We are glad that we called Emmanuel"s Appliances to fix our refrigerator. They had a service tech look at our fridge and immediately identified the problem. He told us up front what our options were. We could go through their company and pay for the parts and labor or contact the manufacturer and asked for a replacement compressor and just pay for the installation. So we did just that. LG took a long time to deliver the part but Bernice (I apologize if I misspelled) was really attentive and pushing LG to deliver the part. We thank you a 1000x times for your hard work. The repair was quick and professional. I will make sure to direct people their way if they have any problems with their Appliances. Thank you again Emmanuel's Appliances and Staff. Thank you again Bernice.

These guys are fair, accurate, and quick! We have used many different appliance repair companies, and this one is the best currently. I can't express how good it is to have somebody who's honest and get back to you when they tell you they will. I feel like there are so many out there that come to your door look at what you have give you an estimate and then never come back. Not these guys! Definitely recommended!

This place. It's one of those where you walk in and wonder. Will it be one of many in which it will be difficult for me to start a good conversation from customer to service? Well, I'll tell you that I was surprised by the way the young man treated me. Very kind and took the time to show me his different products and their qualities and disadvantages in use. I also felt comfortable and after having visited many other places, I did not hesitate to buy there. As a client, one values ​​the importance of a good service, starting with a greeting and that they take good care of you without knowing if the sale will be made or not. A very nice person came to my house, and looked at my freezer that was no longer holding a temperature to freeze ice in the ice maker. This person gave me a few instructions about cleaning, which I had been doing and have continued to do, and he told me a part needed to be ordered and that my $65 for the consult would be applied to the cost of the part and repair. I called three times and got the run around and they never called me back with an estimate for any part. I think they were just making up a excuses because it was going to be expensive and then they just ghosted me and took my $65. I had to go with another company that confirmed my suspicions that it was a costly repair. That was another $100. So I am out $165 for my fridge that just died and I am buying a new fridge all together. I would really like my $65 dollars back.

Phone etiquette is horrible. I called them at 9: 05am; they returned the call at 12: 42pm. Seems phone number is an iPhone since it gives me the option to FaceTime. Once CSR Bernice finally decides to answer, she’s very accommodating. Their initial repair did not work. Hence the call I previously stated to try and schedule a follow up repair. I gave up on them and went with someone else. If you have the patience, give it a try. Good luck.

They never gave me the price of the part. No follow up on the request when I went to shop to buy a new washer. Tech Carlos was very nice but business won't survive with this type of customer service.

I was able to get an appointment to have my drier fixed very quickly. The technician, Carlos, is very professional and knowledgeable. He made the repair quickly and put everything back when he was done. I have used Emmanuel Appliances for 3 different repairs now and have been happy with the results each time.

I purchased a used refrigerator from a used refrigerator from a refrigerator repair shop less than a month and a half ago. I was told that the refrigerator wouldn't give me any problems and I'll be happy with it. The issue with my refrigerator is it stopped cooling down. It was getting warm. I contacted the appliance place back to tell them what was going and they didn't really want to assist me with the issue. I called Emmanuel's and they were able to come the same day within 20 minutes. The tech Abraham was very knowledgeable very honest with me. I would definitely refer them to anyone who needs their appliances fixed or in purchasing any used appliances. They're very reasonable and honest.

Bernice was able to set up a same day appointment to get the igniter on my Samsung range repaired. Abraham showed up a few hours later and was great. He diagnosed the problem quickly, and worked fast and efficiently. The best part is the price was a great value and I didn't feel like I was being ripped off. I highly recommend Emmanuel to anyone who needs high quality, professional service at an excellent price.
