Employment Development Department reviews
9Did not submit the application for the state funding that is designed to fight retail theft. No excuse except utter laziness.
It’s so sad nobody like they job now days everyone have a bad attitude it’s disgusting I went to this office and it is not public I have proof of me being off work from my doctor I been waiting a month for my disability unemployment I hate this world
The most unprofessional agency in the world. No couf whatsoever. Blatantly uninterested in any thing you have to say about your own situation. Criminally negligent.
These people should be fired and we should not put up with this. Let's find out who's in charge of this program so we can't go to this office to get certain things done. Let's find out these people names please
A black woman named "Monica" in tech support hung up on me in the middle of me asking a clarifying question. If you know, it literally takes hours just to get a human to speak with you. Stop hiring people who are not empathetic and don't want to do their jobs. If I could give them -5 stars I would.
I’ve been calling this office for a while trying to explain that someone stole my
Identity opened up an account in my name and I owe $9500 because of this person. Just got a letter through the mail my federal income tax of $980 was put towards this balance that I never even opened up but yet when you try to talk with somebody from the EDD no one’s there they don’t want to see you it’s not open to the public. How are we supposed to get help?
This office is not open for the public. SDI helpline are rarely answered, and there is no office to go and get the status.
Very bad service in everything we seem beggars it is our money I have never been able to receive my unemployment pure failures and there is no one to help you
This was a very unpleasant experience. There were about 15 chairs total in a small cramped room and atleast 60 people that had to go wait in their cars. Not to mention 2 windows open to help people. Multiple people missed their numbers being called because they were not allowed to sit in the cramped room unless they were sitting in one of those 15 chairs. The security guard at the door was extremely rude to people that simply had questions regarding the process of being called with a number. CA brags about all that they offer their people, yet this process is completely broken and ridiculous. You wait hours and hours to go to the window and actually talk to someone on top of it. Come on Newsom, let’s do better.
